I think the Wizard of Oz is one of the classic and unique films ever made.

Victor Fleming is my family member and he definitely deserves that credit. He’s my aunts uncle and I’m very proud for all that my family has done in MGM and Hollywood:)

Now thats how I remember The Wizard of Oz all grainy and fuzzy. i love it.

I'm sure Liza Minnelli was too busy to promote the anniversary. It was only awkward when the reporters showed a complete lack of knowledge of Oz trivia. Jack Haley Jr. should have been there by himself, I think we would have has much more information without the (Lorna) fluff. Also, Jack Haley Jr. and Liza Minnelli ended their marriage on good terms and remained close friends until his death. He was by her side when she was at The Betty Ford Clinic and she only has the nicest things to say about him.

I wonder if my dad bought the VHS tape the day it came out...considering it was released a day after his 35th birthday.
