2019. Judy Garland is and always will be Legendary Status!!

I loved this movie. Judy Davis was the perfect choice to play Garland, much better than the current offering portraying Judy Garland. Your mother was a STAR Lorna and did it the hard way. You should be so very proud.

I don’t know how Lorna was able to come to the conclusion that her mother had a wonderful life, but for her sake I’m glad she did.

Both Tammy and Judy were brilliant and truly deserved their acting honors for this telefilm. Judy Davis captured Garland's performance mannerisms, her performance is far and away better than Zellweger's.

What an incredible treat to watch! Thank you so much. I became a little frustrated at times with the director often interrupting or talking over Lorna. I enjoy hearing her perspective most on the history of Judy's life, especially because she was either there for it or she heard it first hand from her mother! But everyone's input was fascinating. Very well put together :)

Thank you Tomy and YT for the wonderful doc on Judy The Queen. Lorna and the producer did amazing work on that. I'll tell you what... not just Tammi Blanchard and nomen omen Judy Davis love Judy Garland legacy and the spirit of her... I do love Judy probably as much as Rooney did... even more... I am romantic. Well.. as much as Mickey Rooney did.. as a romantic artist dancing singing and writing poetry I feel close affinity to Her. There were no decent men around Her in those days in Hollywood ? Judy- the grandest human being singing and acting and loving people left stranded unattended and penniless. Shame on the whole the then show business. Sorry but MM, Elvis, MJ, Whitney and many more were eaten alive by thy barbarians in executive offices of the industry. Bless you all Judy's fans and aficionados. COME ON... GET HAPPY !

They should have done more for the young Judy in this movie, Judy Davis came in way too soon . It's a shame these guys kept interrupting Lorna luft commentary

Fantastic movie and although Renee Z is good I doubt she can be any better than the amazing Australian actress Judy Davis who plays the older Judy in this movie.

Judy Davis was great.

I personally disagree about the edited "Star" not making sense. It's wasn't butchered. The edited version made sense, but it lost nuance. Cukor was not aware that they were adding "Born in a Truck" after he finished the film (it was added as a showcase for Garland or so I've read) and the result was a very long film that he even objected to. The cut version does make sense. It's too bad the restoration had to use stills and only the audio track was recovered.

Only one. 20th century, only one. Everything she was made to do she gave it all. Some of the material wasn't all that great, but she gave it electricity and intensity. Stunning

Why not make sure that you are truly saved by Jesus Christ and practice this way. Remorsefully confess with your heart your sins to Jesus Christ who is God and tell Him that you right now are repenting of your sins and you want to be born again of the Spirit from above. Tell Jesus that you are remorsefully sorry for breaking His commandments and that you are begging for forgiveness from Him. Allow His blood from the cross to wash away your sins. After this is done with your heart successfully the Holy Spirit will come to live within you and He will rebuild you from the inside out. Look for signs that you are saved. Things like spreading the good news from Jesus, getting other people saved, a craving for the word of God, reading the Bible, etc… These things are known as a calling and fruit bearing. If you're not bearing fruit then keep doing it. Sometimes it takes time to get saved. Read Matthew chapter 13 from the King James Bible. God bless!!!!!
