Just like the NBA's new LeBron James Flop Rule, the WNBA could use changes. My 9yr old neice got a chance to go to a Warriors kids basketball camp but still wasn't that into basketball until she went to a WNBA game and she loved it so much she took her basketball everwhere that summer and played almost every day. I don't watch it but I'm happy it legit gives girls the love of the game. Like every sport it can be improved for sure and I do think a lower rim would be a positive game-changer. The missed layups thing reminded me of how easy it is to score in the NBA and how boring the NBA has become since Steph ruined the game by changing the NBA into a Pop-a-Shot 3's and easy 1-on-1 layup line so even the NBA needs changes to help the defense since it's become so boring watching easy scores and more Airballs & Bricks from the 3pt line than ever before.

Completely agree. Modern NBA is glorified 3v3 since you have guys just standing on the corners and wing for spacing. Still the current style might be better than the early 2000's iso era. Definitely making a lot of valid points, like the record recognition; I feel like is an attempt to say “we’re just as good as the men”. Also the idea of expansion is wild, if I was running a restaurant and we weren’t making any money. I wouldn’t go to the owners and say it’s time to open a 2nd location. All that being said I’m kind of confused are you purposely referring to Britney as he? Like at the 1:28 mark you say he, but then later at 1:44 you say “her Mercury team”. Idk if it was just a slip up or if you were trying to make a joke?

Watching a Jr. High boys game is 1000X more entertaining than anything the WNBA has ever produced. 😂

can we just stop pretending overall that there’s any womens sport that’s at least as entertaining as any mens sport almost every womens sport i’ve ever had the displeasure of watching, be it basketball, track and field events, soccer, tennis, etc there’s ALWAYS one or two women that vastly out perform every single other one they’re competing with. for me what makes mens sports generally more entertaining other than the better athleticism is that there might be a guy that’s a lot better than everyone else, but at least they have to try hard and there’s a lot of parity in terms of how good everyone is. womens sports just can’t hold a candle to mens. they’re not as competitive, not as athletic, and don’t produce the personalities we love like in mens sports. it isn’t even in debate. defund womens professional sports.

Women's tennis is often more fun to watch than men's tennis because they have longer rallies. Women's gymnastics is also fun to watch.

It’s crazy how much they demand for how bad they are , they don’t make any money they only exist because of the nba

Until women get better at the game, don't even consider expansion. Women's tennis is fantastic, golf is quite strong and hockey is getting there. Basketball had around 5 to 10 years to go

You do realize it's the players hurting the league they could do everything y'all want and it's still not going to change anything for the simple fact players are out trying to market politics and woke beliefs instead of trying to market the league and they wonder why women don't support the league it's nothing to do with quality of play it's all about protecting their daughters from toxic woke bs agenda they try to push and until that changes they're not gonna gain support 🤷🤷

They are funded by the NBA demanding more pay from the NBA. Thats almost the equivalent of someone who's in sales with no sales, asking the company to pay them equal to sales people who make sales.

Candace Parker, one of the greatest WNBA players of all time, has 3 total career triple doubles. Russell Westbrook has 198 career triple doubles. That just shows you the VAST difference in skill level between the two.

The WNBA should move away from big cities and have their teams represent small towns with absolutely nothing to do. They should also play in stadiums that hold maximum 8 thousand people and make the court smaller and lower the rims to 8 and a half feet.
