I'm an advocate of not rushing games. But when you (ttg) set up a date and tell news about the game you (tgg) should at least follow it. They're just killing the hype and potential sales everytime they announce a date, then delay it again and again. Because this is a red flag, where you know something is wrong happening within the company and might affect the quality of the game. I'm seeing signs that ttg is nearing it's end again. Gta 6 about to release before The Wolf Among Us 😭

They should just announce it will be released in 2025... It seems so obvious with the circumstances they are having at the moment...

The worst part is not if The Wolf Among Us 2 is getting delayed, the worst is if there is going to be The Wolf Among Us 3 at all, which considering all the oddisey with this game, I doubt if there is going to be another one.

if Adhoc split from the game that sucks. They had like 3 of the original lead writers/director from the first game, now they wont even be involved with the game? that really sucks.. I wasnt too big a fan of the expanse and was hoping for that old telltale magic writing on the game im sorry but I think the leadership of New Telltale have completely squandered this revival. they said they didnt want to repeat the mistakes of the old company but one of the worst stressors of old Telltale was Kevin Bruner having a power struggle over the whole company and forcing games to be made his way. “Leadership is in an open war with each other” sounds like the same is happening now My guess is Adhoc leaders wanted to go in one direction with the game, and Telltale wanted to go another. so Telltale said fck it and cut ties with them (or maybe Adhoc left first?) and then recruited Deck Nine for TWAU 2 instead. Also, buying Flavorworks still seems like such a big waste/mistake to me… Jamie ottilie himself said that mobile doesnt make them much money, so why even try expanding and focusing on that out the gate? focus on making the game!! and then layoffs were like a month later at Telltale, totally related to that acquisition. It sounds like he got way too ambitious and it drove away their other partners, like Adhoc studio. im so sad bc i never thought this game would get to this point… in such bad shape 🥲 i hope that it can release EVER…

This is literally what early access and crowdfunding is for, its specifically made for small studios like them. But it baffles me that they don't utilize these tools. They'd rather lay off employees.

This is disappointing. Imo they should release TWAU 2 first instead of The Expanse. I'm sure it would be a bigger hit and a great come back after their bankruptcy.

We are currently living in the worst era gaming has ever seen. Games with no substance are doing well (cosmetic sales), games like Starfield coming out with 30 fps on console 🤢 , games like Wolf keep getting delayed, gta keeps getting delayed, been waiting a decade for elder scrolls 6 and no word on that, The state of gaming is actually awful and has been for years now. Somewhere shortly after like 2014 gaming development went down the drain.

I do gotta say that telltale started out with only a handful of money before getting a big boom from a new series of games they were producing; getting licenses for little Easter eggs and inclusions from big shows and games isn't cheap, I can't blame them for taking so long. Telltale is falling apart due to lack of money, but gosh dang it. I can only hope something good happens for the game and them! Been on a cliff hanger for twelve years

I know it's expensive, but if we give one, two or three sums to Auntie Greenleaf👵🏻👓🦌⚪🧙‍♀, she should be able to give them some so that they stay in Fabletown🏙. On the other hand, as one is enough for a single Fable without Glamour, if we only find one or two, we should choose who to offer one to or refuse, and send them to the Farm. So I hope we can help them get a Glamour so that they can go back to Fabletown and also to Colin so that he can go back or stay there with his bag of Midas Gold cans (determinant), and if we can find money to give them, of course. If it's like warhorse 6-12 months from release date is when they will post or give a release date. Warhorse didn't want to until they release a trailer some images. But that through a lot of people off. Because they used the voices actors dressed in modern clothing for a medieval game. IGN leaked it before they released the trailer.

To me, it is crazy because the story has so many possibilities with it being a fairy tale noire mystery game. I could write SO many plots. And there are so many excellent developers with the beautiful art style. I think the thing falls down to corporate greed and not wanting to pay people appropriately for their time working. So crazy. I first played this game because of you and I became obsessed with the love story aspect and the identity switch. It is such a fun concept, hopefully it can still be made.

Hi Dom! I wonder when The Wolf Among Us Season 2 will come out. I liked the first season of it and I thought it was really cool and interesting too! I loved the way they had a bunch of different fairytales in the Wolf Among Us games as well such as Snow White and Little Red Riding Hood and Cinderella as well! I can't wait to see what they do in Wolf Among Us Season 2. I'm sure that it will be really cool whenever they decide to release the second season of The Wolf Among Us. I'm trying to stay hopeful for Season 2 of the franchise too.

The community needs to put out better energy. Negative energy only contributes to more negative results. Patience and gratitude toward the development team will only boost their morale. You think they don't have enough pressure on them already, only to get tons of negative energy from the community. That will lead to a rushed game and no one wants that.

I want to say honestly something to cheer people up because this news is REALLY shitty. So I'll mention that tales from the Borderlands was made with a skeleton crew by the end when the sales weren't good. That game ultimately proved one of their best. Maybe it's all incompetence, the writing on the wall that they crash and burn but we aren't seeing it, but it surely is possible for them to work on the game and actually make the episodes with like thirty guys, whatever internal problems they are having, whether or not they actually make the game is dependent on the talent involved at this point and hopefully with whatever efforts have been done with the game that it's at least substantial enough to justify all the time spent in corporate incompetence.

Yeah I can’t lie the games dead. They were already working with a skeleton team after the lay-offs in 2023. The fact that it’s been 2 years since the TRAILER for this game dropped and they’ve only now just entered production? Yeah we’re cooked. This game isn’t coming until 2025/2026 and that just confirms to me that they currently do not have the resources/capabilities to complete this game. - how are investors/shareholders supposed to hold out for another 2/3 years of no money without pulling funding?

What a lackluster move from Telltale. Disappointed tbh. To force your fans to have go through a practical investigation just to get any bit of news is ridiculous. Not to mention all the shady things being thrown around without a single confirm or deny from Telltale. I would never wish this on a company but it’s starting to feel like individuals forcibly leaking information about the game is the only way we’d possibly get news.
