I showed my mother and she's like the shag. I used to have that cut, with beach blonde hair (she was a big fan of blondie and Suzie Quatro).

All fashions eventually come around again, doesn't matter if it's hair or clothes (or even plants) and they'll usually have a new name. The latest I've seen is a "midaxi" (FF's sake!) skirt which, to those of us who grew up in the '60s and '70s, is a midi!

As someone who got a wolf cut about a year ago, this is mostly right! I remember when they were making my bangs they split my hair until to ponytails, one back and one front, the pictures my sister sends to me haunt me for life! 😂

That’s a shag cut, wolf cuts are more of a layered mullet with curtain bangs. They are also less curly

Now if you would have blown the hair out and lightly curled it you would’ve had the original SHAG from the 1960’s/70’s era the name changed but the style will always be from the 60’s/70’s era SHAG!!!
