I’m pretty impressed with how good my hair looks! Thank you for sharing such an easy to follow tutorial. I moved away from my stylist, who specializes in shags and I hadn’t yet found another one, so I decided to give it a try on my own! Thank you for guiding me!

my friend cut my hair this style in july, and she did an amazing job on it. probably my favorite haircut in ages. but she died in late august, and i haven’t been able to bring myself to allow anyone else to cut it. i’ve decided that i’ll be doing it myself so thank you for this tutorial 💕

Back in the 70s this haircut was called the Gypsy. It's a pretty style that is flattering on almost everyone.

I have very thick hair and I appreciate how he made it into 4 sections. This is my go to look only because I have such thick hair and the layering makes it lightweight and less thic! Thank you!

Wow thank you so much for this video. I've cut mine and my sisters hair (wigs and our own hair) for a few years, but rarely anything as intense as going from long long hair to a wolf shag like this, but i followed your video to the letter on my sister and she's ecstatic with how it turned out. Such an easy to follow tutorial and we got what looks like a $200 haircut for free. THANK YOU!

I just discovered this style again after having it in the 80s when I was 18/19....also having spiral perms too....who remembers them?....hairstyle do come back around full circle....Great vid,loved the style in the end!!

Looooved this tutorial! I always would ask diferent stylist for this haircut and they never got it right. I decided to do it myself and am very glad I did. It was easy to follow and my hair looks great. :D

This is so beautiful! Back in 80s I had this cut over perm and I actually cut it myself but not from scratch - I had it done over shag cut that was done at the salon. It looked so cool with leftover perm on my hair. I'm so glad it is back in style. Time to return to my youth 😊 Thank you for the excellent video!

This was a really good - I have a short forehead and heavy hair, so I keep bangs to keep hair out of my face but I tend to trim my bangs too chunky. I didn't know I could layer them. This whole haircut takes lots of weight off my head and keeps it out of my face :)

This is how I want my hair cutting. Went to salon n they put in a fringe and spent 40 mins straightening my hair. No layers. Looks like a 5 yr old s hair cut. So disappointed. Wish I could find a stylist who could do this for me in northants uk.

It helps not give such a blunt and “liney” look. It gives it a more natural vibe :)

@@cheeriototoro8063 Right. I see that. Maybe I worded it wrong. What I meant was, I dont understand the method on HOW TO point cut. So when I see ppl doing it, it just looks as if they are just cutting away at the bang with no rhyme or reason or technique. Just, snip snip snip. Other cuts has rules. Like elevation, 0°, and so forth. But i dont understand how to point cut. If that makes sense😬

@@Deikoka just point your shears directly into the hair. If you’re holding your section so that you can see your guide or the straight line/edge of the cut, point your shears into the edge of it and snip snip snip. It’s very simple, don’t over think it too much 💖
