This video is a great place to start. Recognize that it takes effort to address the causes of your stress. It's not easy, but is worth it. The effort requires effective communication, ownership of your own contribution to the situation and willingness to change the circumstances you cannot correct and are damaging your health. Eating right, exercise and sleep all help to keep things in perspective!

I worked for a company that kept adding more and more work to my already large workload, which was very stressful trying meet deadlines. I chose to except it for a for 6 months and then i finally removed myself as my Supervisor wasn't willing to hire anyone else to help with the high demands. Yes I would do it again only this time I I would remove myself right away as the stress was not worth it at all. I learned that stress is very bad for you and to avoid it when possible.

I've been working in a call center for 7 months, and it is stressful to handle customers. While some complain about same things again and again others get angry for no reason. Along with such stress, my salary is very low!! I think I would change my job by April 2021.

Jessica I'm sorry you feel so much stress in your work and life. I hope your circumstances have improved. Have you identified the main sources of stress for yourself to see what steps you can take to improve each one? I find being proactive, taking steps to make things better is itself a great way to reduce stress! It's helpful to brainstorm ideas by writing a list in a journal or notepad of all the possible ideas you can think of to improve each area of stress in your life. Ask yourself: Who can I reach out to to help me in this xyz circumstance that causes me stress? You'll find in most things there are many people who are going through the same thing or have gone through it and are willing to give you advice and help. But you need to reach out just like you did here. What tiny step can I take to make things better in this stressful circumstance? Small steps are less threatening and easier to take. And every big change starts with a small step! How can I look at this circumstance differently? How is this a good thing? What can I learn from it? Usually there are lessons and opportunities in every bad thing that happens in our life. Question extreme thoughts as they're rarely if ever true. Thoughts like "I think I'm gonna die" for example. I know it feels bad and sometimes like the world is ending. You've survived every problem you've had up to this point! You will get through this too! Be well! Hang in there!

The Gear....I was hired to run a warehouse start up division in the US for a Swedish company. I soon realized that I'd be alone to do everything with a little help from others but nothing organized. It's been 2 1/2 years and it has grown beyond anything that would be considered a good idea for a single person to attempt. It took me a whole weekend just to organize and print out my job responsibilities so I could ask for a simple, realistic monetary increase. The meeting was postponed 4 times and took close to 3 months and the whole time I was in there I barley got a word in and felt like I was interrupting them when I did speak. Even though I'm managing this huge operation and have been told I do a great job. I was turned down and still have not received a review of any kind. I feel as though I will take my experience and move on at some point next year. This is going on all over. It's all about sales and that's it.

@mina This is the best book I have ever read - nay - experienced. Crisp points saying the things perhaps you know, but from totally different perspectives. I have heard lots of discourses on spirituality, but they remained just that - discourses. It is in fact a crime to think that this is spirituality because it is not: it is the way everyone of us needs to live. I completed the book in a couple of days of reading end-to-end. I knew this is a treasure which needed to be read in pieces still couldn't resist finishing - that is first reading of course. I have now started reading in small pieces with full contemplation as advised by Mr. Anderson One thing for sure: this is one book which must be read over & over again. Years of conditioning needs to be weaved away ever so gently. New beginning awaits you. There is no age to begin. I am spreading the book purely because I don't want people to miss such a vital opportunity that they can ever get in their life. And before death. Spread the message, gift the book if you can. I am sure you can. p.s. name of this book is "kit for emotional stability" by Daniel Anderson

How do we know that we are under extreme stress? When we feel tired, we are easily irritated. We cannot cope with simple tasks in a calm way. We are having problems handling normal situation in relationships. Everything becomes a problem, an obstacle. We are always trying to rush through things. We never slow down or stop. We feel like we are constantly bombarded by one thing after another.

My workplace stress is too much overtime and working too many weekends. I’ve worked weekends for almost a year. Another stressor is too much workload and getting criticized for petty stuff. Like today I was told I had to write my full name on my paperwork and not my initials. I responded with “you are telling me this now after 3 years?” Can’t help me with feeling overworked but can point out I need to write my full name. No good job or anything ever.

Imprint limits into your expert and individual life: In the present electronic world, it's definitely not hard to feel strain to be open 24 hours out of each day. Develop some work-life limits for yourself. That may mean creation a standard not to peruse email from home around evening time, or not getting the phone during supper time. Disregarding the way that people have different tendencies concerning the sum, they blend their work and home life, making some unquestionable cutoff points between these areas can decrease the potential for work-life difficulty and the weight that goes with it. Strategies, for example, contemplation, profound breathing activities and care (a state where you effectively watch present encounters and musings without making a decision about them) can help soften away pressure. Start by taking a couple of moments every day to concentrate on a straightforward action like breathing, strolling or getting a charge out of a supper. The expertise of having the option to concentrate deliberately on a solitary action without interruption will get more grounded with training and you'll see that you can apply it to a wide range of parts of your life. To maintain a strategic distance from the negative impacts of incessant pressure and burnout, at whatever point conceivable, get some much needed rest to unwind and loosen up, so you return to work feeling revitalized and prepared to perform at your best. At the point when you're not ready to get some much needed rest, get a speedy lift by killing your cell phone and concentrating on non-work exercises for some time. Rather than going for an undesirable way of life like expending cheap food or liquor, settle on solid decisions when you feel the strain rises. Exercise is an extraordinary pressure buster. Yoga can be an astounding decision, however any type of physical action is advantageous. Getting enough great quality rest is additionally significant for viable pressure the board. This is a deep issue. As a baseline to comprehend what the underlying causes are cultures that lived exclusively with nature NEVER had stress, depression or suicides. The more we invite man mind elements into our life and go against nature the more these conditions develop. The worst is a psychology of unnatural fear. Such as focusing on what could go wrong and if it does you will be punished. This is the entire psychological make up of Health and Safety. It reduces the individual to an inconvenience. Life becomes more about making sure something doesn't go wrong than focusing on what makes life enjoyable. This is the fundamental root cause of stress. To do this personal responsibility, awareness and free choice is denied and replaced by an authoritative voice. This causes depression. The worst of this is adults supervising children. This means they don't develop good cognitive strength and become stressed out worriers. People then start to doubt more and more their own ability to function. Compounding this is a culture of warnings and alarms so we doubt even our own ability to see and hear. And now we're living so unnaturally we use carlights in daylight meaning we now collectivity doubt whether we can see. So people now subconsciously are told to worry about daylight. This is all scientifically proven and researched. Health and safety as the workforce has told us is Mad. 40% of the British workforce feel they are mad, not just wrong, mad. As a result of policies that are scientifically proven to cause stress, mental illness, and depression being implemented there has been a corresponding rise in all of these things. Until we stop Health and Safety stress will never end.

"Creating the Action Plan," is where a lot of people, including myself, get hung up. There seems to be an incredible lack of mentorship in society these days. Someone you can aspire to be like that's close to you such as a supervisor or other person you interact with frequently. Someone who coaches/guides you to become better than you are ... most people in positions of authority simply make demands but sacrifice no personal investment to mentor subordinates to achieve said demands. Also, I generally don't "see" a path to achieve change, ...

I feel the same. I need to remove myself from this new workplace I’m at. I’m constantly worried about going to work because the employer demands me to work faster and I rarely take any breaks. It makes me stress out because I cannot change that I work slow and I can’t accept what the employer is saying to me. This makes me fear of going to work and that the employer will keep in telling me to work faster because the job I have is an alteration specialist but I just work there with no experience though I only know how to sew basic things. So I’m thinking of removing myself so I can be relieved 😅. I found a new place and the people who run the shop is so nice and I like their work philosophy and how they run their alterations shop so I need to leave my current one!!

I think the most stressful job in India is doctor because we take responsibility for a complete stranger or patients if a patient surgery successful the patient respect us if the same patients surgery is unsuccessful we will we get attacked by family members of the patients or anybody because doctor is not a noble profession it's a stressful profession because there are 12.5 lack doctors in whole India where the country is the second most populous country with 1.3 billion population it means every doctor has a responsibility to take care of our lakhs of people around them. especially I will talk about neurosurgeons life because. our life is the very stressful life you would ever know because every operation we perform is very critical and every operation or surgery needs sophisticated materials but in India the sophisticated materials are very low that and operation cannot be done with a highest paying fees let me give you example a brain tumor operation cost around 45 lacs to 75 lacs or even crores, so please don't attack doctors because they are not out there to earn money , we only earn what we deserve. but we think that we should need respect from every patient. in India every hour atleast 4 doctors are being attacked. in this time of pandemic many doctors have their own family, kids and parents but they are struggling for you because there are not enough doctors to treat the people as there are many patients. the basic scale of patients of admitting hospital in this pandemic let's take an example are 30 patients are admitting but the patient discharge are only 3, so please don't miss behave with the doctors please respect them, that's what we ask from you patients we don't your money or something else we demand your respect because we are sacrificing our life to you.❤️❤️❤️

Of all the workplaces I've been in i think working in a kitchen is the best workplace. I prefer to stay in on area and work rather than constantly walk and feel rushed all the time.
