Fun note, in a few translations I've seen, Arlong outright calls Fishmen evolved humans. With the fact Fishman Island is below the sea in a huge air bubble, and may not have always been there... They likely adapted to survive the conditions. Maybe even started as merely good swimmers or used to be much less fish-like.

So here's a thought that me and my friend both came to in regards to the Celestial Dragons 1. We call their outfits space but now they're clearing diving suits for underwater living . That was my friends theory. We then discuss how the Celestial Dragons plan to live on the Red Line long term once all the islands are flooded since its been stated that the Red Line is barren rock, nothing can grow on it. He suggested that perhaps they plan to just strip mine entire islands and transplant the soil to the Red Line and this made me realise. The Hunting Games, it always seemed strange to me that they have them every 3 years but then it hit me. What if it's an experiment, after they kill off all the locals and harvest all the resources they stripmine the island, and then the 3 year period is to see of the soil can support repeat harvests.

I know you said this in a previous video but it's worth restating Rayleigh is a ship coder and one could argue that Tom decided to build the train floating is in response to knowledge he received from Rogers crew.

We know their interests in the well being of islands themselves isn't great, so it did seem weird that they would care if the train helped Water 7 thrive. But given what at least some of the higher ups know, their interest in speedy traversal over the ocean makes a ton of sense.

I think the base of Impel Down is wider because the walls are thicker. The reason is that the deeper you go, the more the water pressure on the walls increases. The space available for inmates on level 6 may be smaller than higher levels for this reason. It also makes sense to put the most dangerous inmates as far away as possible from the only exit to the surface.

7:38 there are TWO devil fruits able to terraform the land, and Wano is the country in which two former users of known fruits appear in flashbacks. Maybe they even raised those wall to prevent the sea levels eroding the mountain, and also trapping Pluton there.

Roger started the Great Age of Piracy so people would build more ships, either as pirates sailing the high seas or marines building warships to combat them, so people would have more ships to go on once things start going South. If worst comes to worst, they can just go up to the sky islands.

6:13 made me think the Red Line was built as a worldwide dam to keep the water levels on one side. But the gaping hole that was/became Fishman Island equalized the water levels over time.

Playing with the idea that vegapunks message will essentially be the "great truth" that was KNOWN BY ALL 900ish years ago. They all "came to their own conclusions". Some decided to build on top, some went to high ground, etc. Somehow after the "void" nobody knew about the flood but the geographic signs remained everywhere, unknown in plain sight.

You've gotta remember that the people who grew up outside of the Grand Line found the weird weather differences, the extremes in sea currents etc to be aberrances to the norm. Remember what our rugged navigator looked like going to Whiskey Peak after a thought life near Arlong Park? There's something weird and special about the area the Grand Line covers, and it's got something to do with the continent movers, the Red Line and the big hole near Enies Lobby.

i saw this in joyboy theories video: at 7:39 you can see in the top and middle the sea level is in line with old wano, but in the bottom panel (presumably many years later) the sea level is higher than most of old wanos buildings.

I started having doubts when water seven and Enies Lobby were introduced. one is a city sinking in the ocean the other a hole in the middle of the ocean that mysteriously never seem to fill up with water.

Fishmen aren't fish. They're fish men. Therefore they like living both in the water and out of it. At the bottom of the ocean, they only have one of those. It makes sens that they would make sure to have the other. The bubble isn't for the humans at all. It's for fishfolk and merfolk.

At 6:00 I believe the creation of Fishman Island was at Joyboy's request. 800 years ago, he asked Poseidon to instruct giant whales to headbutt a hole through the base of the Redline, evident by the scars on the pod of whales we meet immediately after leaving Fishman Island (and Laboon's connection). Joyboy also asked Poseidon to instruct all the enormous Seakings to guard a corridor around the world, creating the calm belt - interrupting sea currents. The Grandline was created to hide Poneglyths/history from the WG as only recently could Marines use Seastone to pass through the calm belt. The redline hole also made a natural funnel so the next Joyboy would come through and meet Fishman on his way to spread Liberation. Joyboy's apology was to request all this at his death. Seakings and Fishmen are essentially the gatekeepers and protectors of the Poneglyths and will be the ones to save humans from the flood when those secrets are revealed.

The Red Line? A giant pretty flat, straight mountain thing the bisects the world and is indestructible. The world nobles live on top. The same people smiting people which apparently raises the water levels and yet would be way above all of the drowning The Lunarians used to live there apparently. The fact there are sky islands. And not just Skypiea, but Balloon Terminal where Urouge was healing on and Kaido leaped off of. Noah a giant ship, Noah's ark. Giant flood. Fishmen race, maybe evolution/adapted to floods etc. Can breathe above and below water.

So my mind has been spinning after the latest chapter, to the point that I don't know if I can even explain this properly, but: - The Red Line and Grand Line are both named "Line", but one's a continent and other's an ocean... so what if the Grand Line was initially entirely land? - If that's the case, then what does that make the Calm Belts that are on either sides of the Grand Line? - What if the Calm "Belts" refers to the "ocean conveyor belt" of our world, if we look on our world map, we see that the "belt" (aka deep-ocean current) hugs the sides of our continents, and it helps *BALANCE CLIMATE* - If we apply this knowledge to the One Piece world, it would make sense if the Grand Line was initially a continent as well, that's why the Calm Belts flows along its sides. But if the continent sank below the waters then the Calm Belts' ocean current would be disrupted, thereby disrupting the climate.

You referenced Punk Hazard and its weird weather patterns at the beginning of the video. That island became that way as a result of Akainu and Kuzan fighting over who would become fleet admiral. Jinbe talks about this in the Fishman Island palace! He does say a "certain island" but I think its pretty clear. Although, the thought of Akainu not killing Kuzan in a deathmatch is sus at best.

I’m wondering if the stone growths around Wano are actually seamounts or underwater volcanos. We know there’s underwater crevasses like the Mariana trench; underwater mountains are also a thing. While water does erode stone, minerals carried from vents and underwater eruptions can build up the sea floor too!

If earthquakes (as we understand for the moment) are the cause of the sea levels rising, it can potentially also figure into Blackbeard's role in the final arc as a (close-to) final antagonist, since he holds Whitebeard's Quake-Quake fruit

For me Wano makes total sense. The walls function as a dam. Stopping water from entering it. Preventing the rising water level to consume the country. The rain water was a side effect that the ancient locals of wano didn't consider or maybe even accepted as a side effect. With this new info of the water level rising Wano kind of acts as a microcosmo for the OP world. Showing us all the consequences of said effect.

I really like that Vegapunk studied the clouds on Skypiea an then built punk records on skyclouds so even if the world sinks he can still preserve all that information and keep it safe, as well as the base for his internet-like system assuming the other punks finish it.

Also, Amazon Lily is also surrounded and built up by the Snake Mountains. As well, Goa Kingdom in East Blue and Sorbet Kingdom in South Blue have places where the nobles and royalty are actually built up and living on plateaus… like the royals of the past who were both despicable kingdoms knew something too. I know this is out there but I kind of like where you’re going with Lulusia actually not being vaporized but actually pushed downwards. I’ve thought since the chapter came out that maybe Lulusia and whatever island where Enies Lobby stands above were actually pushed down to not the ocean but the center of the earth (the perfect place to hide things from history)…. And that might be where Laughtale is. It explains the earthquakes cause that would definitely be affecting the tectonic plates of the One Piece world also causing things like Aqua Laguna (which is near Enies Lobby that also has the hole) and the sea level to rise. Cause I thought if Laughtale and all these kingdoms were at the bottom of the sea wouldn’t the Fishmen and Merfolk know? And maybe that’s what happened to God Valley as well. It’s possible that there might be a giant cavern at the center of the earth that holds a whole sea and bunch of islands down there called the ALL BLUE! It was said to a mythical sea that contained fish from all different seas and if these islands all got knocked down there parts of the sea have been slowly falling down there too! Now, I know that weapon that did that needs the “Mother Flame” that Vegapunk created and he’s only been alive for a short while respectively to the History of the World Government. Maybe the Mother Flame is just a technology developed by the Ancient Kingdom and the world government stole it along with the weapon (which I believe is Uranus) to end the war but maybe lost the Mother Flame over time until Vegapunk figured out how to recreate it. That’s why they need it so desperately cause they can’t do what they did before in the past without it. Lastly, going back to Enies Lobby remember how they said it was the island of eternal daylight? Maybe it has something to do with the mother flame being used? Since, there has been connections that it was from the past and like a mini power source like the SUN. JoyBoy…. Sun God Nika? It would be interesting if the area around Lulusia also has eternal daylight as well… and it just has happened yet since it so recently happened.
