Honestly, I'm very conflicted by this series. Its essentially a slice of life with a generic fantasy bent - nothing compelling or interesting. The major plot is already resolved and 80 years dead when we start. Not something that would usually hold my interest at all and the teenage not-quite-a-romance-yet thing is actively annoying. *BUT* the characters are just so compelling I want to spend more time with them, and I'm along for the ride no matter where we end up.

Honestly, for a short version of the entire storyline of the myths of Dedalus and the Bull of Minos, I recommend just checking out the Mythos sections of the Minotaur and Daedalus wiki pages Unfortunately, I cannot recommend anything from the category of Greek myths in a longer form, because I read them in my native language already in primary school. (I came across one book with myths that belonged to my mother at school and I fell in love with them (I read the first book myself, by my own choice, I don't count those that my parents recommended/told me, I will read)) From that moment on, when it came time to learn ancient literature both in middle school and high school, I was always on the alert, ready to raise my hand and politely correct the literature teacher (good old school days) ;)
