Bowhunter Luke Brewster tagged a world-record 327-inch wild buck in Illinois in November 2018, but he didn't pull it off by himself. This is the story of his buddies, their deer camp, and the tradition of hunting mature deer together.

I don't know why I read public comments, so many jealous, critical, and bitter people. Y'all have a wonderful day. Beautiful buck by the way.

Really liked this series of videos and congrats to Luke from a fellow Marine combat veteran. Just one thing that bothered me you spent five minutes talking about how the outfitter was tight lipped about the deer sightings. Were you guys out in the middle of the road with a bull horn talking about your sightings?

Better men than I. If I had those trail pics on my property I woukdnt be letting anyone who didn't help put work into that land on it to hunt that deer. Guess I'm just selfish lol.

Nice👍 I got my nephews in to hunting they have killed some pretty good deer all on our family farm we have one buck we call stickers because g'2s have flyers stick out 3 to4 inches but here's the thing we are all after this one buck but who ever kills him gets 3 years of his antlers to go along with him . Me and my son has found his sheds laying with in 15 ft apart for that many years gonna be interesting years😊 like ya said just hope someone in our family can close the chapter on this buck . Had this happen before and the neighbor killed it .I had 3 years of this deer. 17 pointer . I congratulated him. Showed him the sheds but kept them it was my first shed as well. 😊👍👍👍👍👍

Staggering fetching has been around for a long time. I remember seeing indoor target archers doing that back in the 80s. Its Just not that popular.

I never found a recipe for those antlers that I liked....I will make u all deal. For $3000 u can come to my IA farm, I will release the steer of your choice and u can shoot it. Will taste better than these pen raised deer and it will save u tens of thousands of dollars.

Yes, but holding a record buck is like hitting the jackpot. You can get endorsement deals and even sell the. replicas. Shooting record buck deer can make a person a whole lot of money. Not counting the bragging rights

@@stevefowler2849 Negative. I hunt for the sport of it and I only hunt 100% free roaming/fair chasing deer. It’s nice to know that you could potentially harvest a record book buck, no different than lottery odds.

6:01 Go figure, the guy with the shirt that says "I Love My Church, " would say "It's not necessarily about killing big deer" yeah, they spend tens of thousands of dollars on equipment, food plots minerals, etc... not necessarily about killing big deer..( it's about having big antlers...). How stupid does he think people are?

The end goal is to shoot big deer. The longer and harder you hunt it's the natural progression. If you shoot the first 2 year old deer you see it negatively impacts your current season and later seasons. After a few years you begin to enjoy the process more and more. It's pretty nice to see a group of guys hunting separate adjacent properties have similar goals. That's why they can have a good relationship.

@@SnatchOutlaw I get that. My point was that he said "it's not about shooting big deer " He's one of hundreds of thousands of people that are members of corporations that label themselves as "churches" (falsely) that love lies.
