I have the T1, was super impressed with it! I used an adjustable ND Filter which clips on, because my TV is a Samsung QN90A, which peaks at 2000nits. So the camera, with it's fixed ISO, nearly fully see's everything as a bright ass white. But when I painted my wall a dark gray, the effect of the lighting is barely visible. So I added some Govee H6008 Bulbs and added them to my ceiling and two corners. Synced to the Dreamview of course. Now its absolutely crazy immersive!

Hehe was waiting for this. And who else then MrTek with a video about the new products! Lytmi had a notice on their website with the Pro version, that some LG tv's wont support everything. But they deleted that very quickly! Hopefully the can fix this and maybe up the brightness also! Thanks for the video btw

I got my fantasy 3 pro for Christmas and it's been mostly positive. With my Sony X900h and PS5 i haven't experienced the signal blackout you're dealing with and vrr/allm seems to be working just fine as well as proper reds with hdr. However the lights do just turn off occasionally for 30ish seconds then come back. Also seeing some color inaccuracies here and there, mainly getting pinks, purples and reds in place of more brown earthly tones. I'm loving it but hopefully these small issues get resolved with a software update!

Really hope you see this but I just a new 4k monitor 240hz so I use the display port. My Govee sync box does me no good now but honestly I never thought it was that great anyway with brightness compared to my camera setups but I didn’t have the one with light bars. However I want my monitor to be the best as possible so they’re letting me return it. My question is should I do the G1 strip and Dreamview through PC software or do the G1s Pro setup with the camera and neon rope and light bars? I can hide the camera on my monitor shelf/ stand if that works better. Do you know if just the G1 led strip and if I buy separate light bars with the dial will sync to Dreamview as well?

I had a bunch of issues with the Lytmi 2.1....so much so that their support gave up and refunded me. I'm not surprised that the newer box is having issues that require recycling power frequently. Sounds like they still haven't solved some of the issues plaguing previous gen.

what do you think is the best and most accurate immersion kit just for color accuracy on movies and shows? i have the t2, i like it but it seems like the newer sync boxes are more accurate and not having this big camera sticking off the top of my tv would be cool.

T3 Pro will undoubtedly be out soon. Cost-wise, Govee will be cheaper than Lytmi Fantasy 3 Pro. The main issue with Sync boxes (Hue/Lytmi) is with smart TVs; when you are not using the HDMI, there is no signal to process.

You should avoid ANY colour. Keep the wall white or in the shades of gray.

I got the Lytmi 3 Pro the other day and love it! However, I feel like it doesn't capture the color green as often as it should. The times it does it looks to light of a green. Also when the color is more "White" or bright it looks like a rain bow on one of the sides (Like when you shine a light on glass) I don't know if I set it up wrong by putting it to close to the edge of the tv. or what but its only on one edge of the tv!

Oh my godness YES! Do keep in mind tho that govee may have the better color accuracy. But just over the last few days the colors on Lytmi seemed to get better.@@Kenny-nn4rg

would be nice if the LEDs showed the G part of RBG. Even watching this video, I can tell they both suffer from the inability to properly and accurately display the color green as the previous models do.

Running the t1 on one tv and the t2 on another. Do think the t3 lite is better than the t2? I have another tv that I want to run lights to but can’t decide between the T2 or t3 lite… This tv is used with a lot of streaming so a sync box won’t makes much sense for me.

The T3 Lite and T2 definitely have their strengths and weaknesses. RGBICW is huge on the T3, but T2 has higher bead density and more addressable zones. Also keep in mind T3 supports 7 separate devices to T2s 5.

are you still able to use your monitors HDR of FreeSync Premium Pro with govee sync box? i mentioned beforre im returning it since PC software can still do dream view and can choose other strips. Honestly thinking of cutting and mounting the neon desk rope and put it behind the monitor since it could be better than sync box color brightness or go to camera base. I really want to see sync box vs g1 strip or g1s pro camera kit for best brightness so it feels like youre more there.

Hey man, unfortunately no free Sync premium is not supported. Govee has teased their 8k sync box during CES which will be more capable. Did you happen to catch that? For the time being you can look into leveraging the Govee sync software for your PC. That or a camera solution.

@@MrTekSuggest yeah, i saw eventually their next sync box will be hdmi 2.1 so im guessing it will obviously support better performance. I didn't really think about it when I just upgraded my monitor. I got a 4k @ 240hz which is awesome but then the sync box does me no good and I guess cause it being the smaller monitor one I couldn't use on my PS5 and bigger TV. Right now I'm just using the 2 gaming light bars with the dial that comes with it and actually love it. I have the G1S Pro I'm going to hook up today to compare. I was just curious cause i'm using the display port for my main picture and then hooked up the hdmi for the sync box and "duplicate" monitors but then I think it eliminates HDR as well as FreeSync Premium. So I'm fine using the PC software with the compatible strips. But youre my favorite channel for Govee stuff so curious what you would do with high end monitor. Just the basic G1 LED strip or the pro setup with the camera and light bars. I am curious to see since the G1S Pro has like a neon rope for it and try to find a way for the camera to rest on my monitor stand but I know its harder with this camera having a spring. I wish I could post a pic cause idk if this even makes sense really lol but just wanted to say I love your content man. You gave me a lot of good ideas!

Glad I waited for your review. Seemsike the Vrr implementation is just too unreliable at the moment. Maybe it will be fixed with a firmware update or maybe it won't. The cost for the device is too high to gamble. And really disappointing to see HDR issues still exist. I was really looking forward to the Pro model. I think I will just give up on lytmi and wait for another device.

Look into the Fancy LED HDMI 2.1 Sync Box - It is superior to this one but it only has 1 HDMI input and only supports ARC and not eARC

Hey I copied your Govee ai sync box set up and all was well. Suddenly now when playing a game at 120hz the lights will turn white and hold a white for a bit and go back. Is there anyway to fix this?

Really when I play a game it does the stuttering the menus (Xbox Series X) are fine at 120hz? Could it be the hdmi cables going bad possibly?

Its just the govee box and the splitter. Mine does the same thing. I think its just a handshake issue between the splitter and sync box. If your picture is not going black then its not the hdmi. Hope that helps.

Fancy LED HDMI 2.1 Sync Box is superior to this one as it supports every feature you can think of apart from eARC however it does support standard ARC. The only downside to it is that it only has 1 HDMI input, don't ask me what they were thinking with that one. Still waiting for a company to replicate the Fancy LED HDMI 2.1 Sync Box with 4 HDMI inputs and eARC support although I can get by with just standard ARC support. I haven't heard of any VRR issues with their Sync Box either.

@@coasttech The following has been copy and pasted directly from the listing on their official website so you're either mistaken or the customer support agent that you spoke to doesn't know what they're talking about - "The Fancy Sync Box HDMI 2.1 supports 4K 120Hz, with HDR Dolby Vision. DRM content can be watch & played, with HDCP 2.3 compliance. A HDMI device is required for the LED syncing. ARC is supported, however, eARC is currently not" Or they have updated it via firmware to support eARC and not updated their website

Samsung tvs have a Phillips hue sync app that requires not sync box just the Gradient strip and the app for 4k 120 hz support. it costs $130 for the app and its only tied to that specific tv not your account

Im using a samsung q90A 75" which is 4k 120 with gsync connected to a gaming pc 13900ks 4090... but i cant switch to game mode and i cant switch to 4k 120 on pc. If i try to select either option the box loses signal. Its the Lytmi fantasy 3 pro vrr. Have you or anyone tried using it for pc? it says it supports PC as well.

Have you contacted Lytmi? I forwarded this video to them as I’m concerned about the blackout. They replied within a day and said the issue is only with LG & can be fixed via software update if you provide your virtual ID.

Yeah i contacted them right before i commented on your video. Still waiting for a reply but it was pretty late last night. Im aware that earlier this year they had issued with samsung game mode specifically, due to it not working with Vrr i believe. Ill update here when i find out, bc im sure theres a large community of PC players just as curious.@@leestar7156

So, on the samsang qn90A 2021 series the hdmi 4 port has the controller next to it. It's suppose to indicate the most optimized port for game mode. All hdmi ports are hdmi 2.1 and support game mode. The box works great on the other ports, just not 4, it's rare if it does and takes alot of unplugging or power cycling all devices. I just use port 2 and works most of the time at least lol

Well that sucks so i guess theres no update for lytmi fantasy 3 since they have a pro version the only reason why i got the lytmi fantasy 3 was for gaming i got it a month or 2 later when it first came out totally feel like i wasted money im pretty upset about this

If ONLY the camera head of these could unplug from the arm so you could plug just the head into the cable with it lying stealth like on the surface under the TV looking up. I just can't do with the camera and arm hanging over the top of my TV.

Lytmi 😡 es un desastre hubiera empezado resolviendo esos problemas en los productos anteriores nosotros ya compramos el producto para que funcione correctamente. Esto es un robo una estafa. No debieron haber si Olé mente sacado otro . En mi caso me encuentro con una app pésima no funciona el convertidor de yen los colores son sobre saturados son horribles . Por ejemplo si hay un cielo celeste Lytmi nos pone u. Color azul horrible de discoteca. Estoy súper decepcionado y está falta de respeto al consumidor no se perdona

Once Phillips updates / comes with a new sync box with HDMI 2.1 support it will leave all these “want to be like Phillips but can’t compete” companies behind. Hell even their box art is unoriginal.
