When you look at the amount of points Wilkinson and Carter scored what makes it all the most impressive is how long each was out with serious injury.

He can practice his drop goals in my garden any time he likes !! Lost count of the times he has just made rugby magical. HOWEVER....all players in the team made this possible for him ..... credit to them all ! LOVE my rugby !

I always think it is pointless saying that this one is greatest or that one is greatest. Point is the top ones are ALL the greatest !! Apart from Jonny's kicking prowess, off BOTH feet, his defensive qualities were really top drawer. I salute ALL of the top players equally, and in ANY Sport. Let's just enjoy the lot of them.

@@joedennehy386 11 points per game on test level. I think Naas was the first professional rugby player in SA. He also went to USA to play as a kicker for one of the American Football teams.

Apart from Carter, he was clearly better than the other three. Far more points and points per game, extreme accuracy. Also scored far more drop goals than anyone ever, Carter included, and kicked them off both feet. And he was a great tactical kicker, you don't win a world cup without a good kicking fly half. Also a great tackler - just the complete player

I’m sorry but Jonny Wilkinson was far better than all of those apart from Dan Carter. I would find it hard to split the two of them. Both absolute GOATS. For pure kicking ability I think it has to be Wilkinson. Best there ever will be at that

It almost laughable to say Johnny Wilkinson is best player ever. The guys is great kicker there is no doubt about that. Dan Carter is best flyhalf ever.A young Dan Carter destroyed the 2005 lions. Dan Carter is two time World Cup winner too. He had the complete game he could run,kick,pass and tackle. Dan Carter is best and daylight is second.

It's a coward's way of scoring. No one goes to a footie match to see drop goals.

It’s not cowardly it’s risky and is only something done by the best. A drop goal is very, very hard and doing one and getting it over requires alot of skill, precision and focus. A drop goal looks simple to the viewer but it is anything but that.

you must be an Aussie or something because when I watched a match live with Juani Hernandez and he scored a drop goal everyone was in ecstasy including myself.
