It’s only uncomfortable for like 2 or 3 days. I have scoliosis and my back feels so good when I wake up if I do this the night before.

He’s shown this a while back and I have been doing these for a while. Yeah these things are awesome. Great mobility drill for squat and deadlift days.

You should try pointing your palm to the sky when facing up. Really opens the stretch up further.

I did this stretch at the gym just the other day. I’ve never seen anyone do this stretch. I did it because my back was tight and because it made sense 😂😂😂😂

It's pretty much a fully-body stretch so that is normal

Hamstrings are probably super tight . That’s the same with mine. Did you recent have a leg day? Try some hamstring stretches for a few days/sessions and then try this again and see if you notice a difference .

i can mostly feel it in my inner hips, and only in the back while extending.. what am i doing wrong? i am alteady working on my hip mobility, thanks a lor for ur videos!

Is this one you can/should do when mobility is severely limited (bc of one hip) and progress or should you do something else first to increase mobility of that hip?

Why is it So important to keep the back knee off the ground? Can't you still get the benefits (plus hip flexor stretch) with the back knee on the ground.

Be careful though, static stretches before workouts can be dangerous. Dynamics before workouts, statics after workout

​@Chigo A static stretch 30 seconds or less is just fine before a workout. Prolonged statics are the issue.

@@chauvintookaknee4blm268 the science of yoga came from Adiyogi the first yogi (Shiva). It predates Hinduism, (-ism) which is the westernized word for Hindutva. Before Hinduism was Sanatam dharma. Both Sanatam dharma and Hindu-ism came from yoga, not the other way around. That is what I have found so far on my journey. I can only parrot what I found out from others. Obviously I was not present at that time and have not yet reached that enlightened state to know all. Stay inquisitive. Keep asking questions and keep looking for the answers until the answers will find you.
