Big up Kangaroo Island getting some recognition 🙌🏻 Fun fact: those wild fires in Australia at the start of 2020 absolutely destroyed Kangaroo Island, and it took about a year for its wild life and economy to get back to where it was. It still isn't completely the same though because it got hit so hard. Amazing place though!

As much as I love living on Long Island, we are technically not an island. Legally, we are a peninsula according to the Supreme Court. And it’s because of the East River. The East River is a tidal strait, not a river, and it was widened for safe ship passage. Thus because it’s not a natural river, Long Island is not an island. The US vs Maine case was about who controlled the waters surrounding Long Island and Block Island. If Long Island counted as an island, they’d be controlled by the federal gov rather than the states. And so NY was hoping for Long Island to be counted as a peninsula.

So Hub Island isn’t by Manhattan but rather it’s a part of the Thousand Islands region, a group of islands that straddle the Canadian border on the Saint Lawrence River between NY and Ontario. That volcano on Tenerife is called Teide, and it sits upon a crater called Las Cañadas. Which is the remains of an older basalt shield volcano (making it a volcano on a volcano...volcanoception). This is the name of that caldera you’re seeing. Measuring from the ocean floor, it is the third highest volcano and has been labeled a Decade Volcano. Decade Volcanoes are active volcanoes we have to keep an eye on because of their proximity to densely populated areas and thus their eruptions could threaten hundreds of thousands of people. My great grandma is from the Canary Islands so I love when people mention them

Fun fact about Tahiti: Captain William Bligh (later Governor of Australia) was ditched by his crew near Tahiti in 1789. They didn't want to leave the island, so they took control of the Bounty (the ship), and sailed it right back. Bligh, on the other hand, sailed for thousands of kilometres in a tiny little wooden boat.

The definition of an island is a body of land smaller than a continent surrounded by water. For some reason Australia is a continent even though the official continent should be Oceania as it includes NZ papa new guinea and the Pacific islands. And doesn't leave to questions what it is in.

Living in New Zealand and your pronunciation of Waikato is interesting it’s pronounced wai-kaa-tow not wa-cow-toe 😂 good attempt though jack :) also video isn’t linked in the description 😀

You should consider using phonetics, since it's a system which actually describes pronunciation. I have no idea how you would even pronounce "wai", "kaa" or "tow", since the last word can both the pronounced /təʊ/ and /taʊ/. Looking it up on Wikipedia, it says /ˈwaɪkɑːtɔː/ combined with what you wrote, I assume it's /ˈwaɪ̯.kɑː.tɔː/ and not /ˈwa.ɪ.kɑː.tɔː/, and the final /tɔː/ doesn't sound like "tow".

Video 3 of asking jack to learn all the capitals I have been watch for such a long time and soon I learnt all the countries, flags, states, state flags, provinces and territories of Canada, the Governoarates of Jordan 🇯🇴 (where I’m from btw free Palestine), the states and territories of Australia, the regions of Singapore and lastly quite a lot of capitals but not all. If you do so maybe you can learn their flags. Love from Jordan 🇯🇴 and Palestine 🇵🇸

Fun fact: I live in the state that Marajó island (at 3:22) belongs to! Unfortunately, that was the MOST botched pronounciation of Marajó that someone could make. "Majero"... it's pronounced like "mah-rah-JOH"!
