Having climbed that tower a number of times, I can say that it's always exciting & fun! The first time was way back in 1960's, as a little boy and I remember the struggle of those many, many stairs. So very proud to call Ulm my second home, and the place my mother and grandmother were from.

I studied in Ulm in 1996. Something rather rare happened at that time: The Münster has entirely devoid of scaffolding. It was quite a big deal for the locals.

I went to Ulm last year and made it to the top of the tower without knowing it is the tallest church of the world 😁 amazing

Because misionaris from Germany (RMG 1865) ago my Distrik Nias Island in Indonesia to be 99% Kristen Protestan religion and be mayority now in there....although Indonesia still mayor Muslim Country....thanks germany greeting friendly From Nias-Germany..

The tallest church in the world is in Chicago. The Chicago Temple Building is 568 feet tall, your little church in Ulm is only 528 feet tall......sorry

@@dweuromaxx Neither is your Church in Ulm...You just don't want to admit your church is smaller than ours in Chicago..By far I think yours is much more beautiful and the architecture is breathtaking...... but Chicago beats yours out by about 30 feet no matter how you try to justify it.

@@whitewolfvideo3536 The Chicago Temple Building is a 173 meter (568 foot) tall mix-use skyscraper , with a small portion used for "church activities" . It is the tallest church building in the World, though not the tallest church in the world (see Ulm Cathedral). Your dear Chicago Temple Building is not even counted in the list of churches by your US govt LMAO, it is church BUILDING having to follow zoning laws and tax laws.
