I can't even begin to describe the absurdity that Detective Key is somehow "besting" and "outsmarting" Peele because his lines came from the posters behind him, it defies all logic and it by far is the most hilarious part of the sketch.

This is just an idea, but like if you agree: They need to do a 30min episode based on this skit with all the names Carter Finley named as real people who were in charge. A scene where Detective Key is Downtown at night and finds a Club called The Clutching kitten and enters and its like out of scene from the Dark Knight were Batman finds Moroni Mob Boss, but instead finds Cat Branchman. Just like in this skit when Carter Finley has the flashbacks after seeing what Detective Key was saying from the posters, As Detective Key runs into the suspects and places and streets that Finley originally named, the Music that was playing for Finley in the beginning plays in the Detective’s flashbacks. Somewhere near the end Detective Key comes to the conclusion that is was all apart of Carter Finley’s master mind plan to get locked up. When he rushes back to the station, he finds it in shambles and chaos as Carter Finley has escaped. He also escaped with the most valuable posessions... All of Detective Key’s Posters. Thats what this Mob in this universe is about. The Manufacturing, Trade, and Sell of Posters. Detective Key is in agony in walking into his office to find his posters gone. This could use some spicing up and whatnot, but i played this out in my head how i saw it and it was definitely something i know they could make. I also didn’t articulate it how i wanted but I wanted to get the idea out there so that maybe, one chance in a million this could be done. Peace
