In this video we take on the challenge from @Project-Air air to build the worlds fastest lego RC car. This project wasn't without it's challenges, but I believe there's even more speed to be had for anyone trying this one out.

Congratulations! What an incredible job! My best speed deserved to be smoked by this level of engineering. 😄Time to make some proper rules!

Haha thanks...agreed on rules. There are probably a lot of things I did that should haha been "banned"

@@EngineeringAfterHours I agree. We should define some rules and make some sort of official "world's fastest lego car championship" which everyone can join as long as they don't break the rules.

I feel as though the rules are too ill-defined for this to be sensible challenge. You could just superglue a Lego brick onto a commercial RC car and that would also be just as valid. For the fastest RC cars you are then looking at in excess of 200mph.

Lol...thats pretty much what donut media did...they just threw the lego body on top of an RC chassis

I think if this was a serious challenge then proper rules would have to be laid down as it’s very subjective. But regardless, it was light-hearted and I really enjoyed this video. Looking forward to the next milestone!

I think It would be more interesting to see what you can do with just lego parts. Motors, wheels...

@@EngineeringAfterHours having kids learning about what it takes to do iterative design at a young age is so good! If you guys felt comfortable sharing that father son relationship on the videos would add even more to your channel. I'm thinking about what what's inside channel did with Dan and Lincoln

@@danielnunez3518 maybe not 80 kph, but with buwizz its already 60 kph. And all lego oofical I think is 35kph or higher. So it kinda is, when buwizz is considered lego.

Super awesome project! Mad lego speeds there. Are you allowed to super glue the lot together once a good design is nailed down?

There's really not any official rules so I don't see why not!

Everyone is in the comments criticizing the fact that it’s “NoT aLl LegO”, yet none of these people have actually attempted an all Lego car that completes any part of this challenge. It isn’t possible. Even if you hunt down those old 100 dollar Lego buggy motors lol

I like the process, design, build, test, analyze, revise until successful. What are you 3D printing with these days. My 3D45 is still making accurate parts but considering an upgrade.
@EngineeringAfterHours8 ай бұрын
I still use the 3D45! Next upgrade will be a larger form factor so I can print a wind tunnel in 1 or 2 pieces.

Next time, get some people that actually Can build Lego. This is pathetic. Better grind the pieces down, make filament out of the grindings and print your "Lego" car . . .
