We didn't get a "here's the thing" and now I have to put this video from the S tier to the A tier.

Everything I’ve ever heard about Billie Joe is super positive. His meltdown about “one minute” was him at his lowest and he was super drunk but he felt so ashamed that he checked himself into rehab shortly after. I’ve always got a super chill down to earth vibe from him.

Billie Joe sticks up for fans at shows (like when he jumped in the crowd to defend someone back in the day) and is kind of a goof from stuff I’ve seen online. Yeah he might not be the most chill person ever, but I wouldn’t think he’s insufferable enough to be excluded from the BBQ. That meltdown he had was him at an absolute all time low. Doubt he’s anything like that most of the time. I’d put him on the S tier personally, but I think he deserves at least B, if not A. Plus he’s an absolute fucking showman

dam he judged Billie off of his one outburst in 35yrs when he was drunk & on anti-depressants. I played a gig with his sons band about 6 years ago. Billie & his wife both attended the smaller venue & they were the coolest most down to earth people. He wouldn't sign any autographs that night bc it was his sons album release show & he wanted the entire night to be focused on that.

Funny enough I met Billie Joe after a Green Day firework night at an Oakland A’s game. He didn’t have to but he came over and said hi to every fan and was just the nicest guy.

I once talked to someone who built guitars for a living, and he got to meet Billie Joe Armstrong. According to him, Billie Joe was actually very shy and quiet but was a decent guy as long as politics weren't a topic of conversation. I can not confirm this as I didn't meet him, but I do feel it's probably true it just sounds right to me

Trent would sit on the side looking very intense not talking to anybody and making it kinda weird until the propane in the grill runs out and he tells you he actually has a full tank in his car and brings it out. No one asks why he has a full propane tank just sitting in his car.

I randomly hung out in a limo with Billie Joe in Kansas City after a Van Halen concert in 2007 and he was one of if not the coolest famous people I’ve ever encountered. Spent about an hour and a half talking about Neurosis and Doom Metal while they were chowing down on some KC BBQ

When my wife and I were in our teens, we went to a Lacuna Coil show at the Agora in Cleveland and waited outside after their set. Security came over to see what we were up to and we said we were hoping to meet LC when they came out. He went back inside and came out with Cristina and Marco 5 minutes later and Cristina gave my wife a hug, took photos, and they talked with us for about 15 minutes. It was our first time meeting national bands and they set a high bar. S-Tier frontperson for sure.

Billie Joe doesn't strike me as a douche, if he was you'd have heard that too tbh. What he strikes me as is someone who's extremely introverted and spends a lot of time in their own head for better or worse.

I don’t think one really bad moment defines a person. I’m sure Billie Joe has done some messed up stuff in his life, like almost any celebrity or person for that matter, but it’s clear that he has so much love and appreciation for his family, band mates, and fans. Obviously, politics is an entirely different issue. But I appreciate him for speaking his mind.

I too had a thing for Lacuna Coil back in the day. The biggest thing I appreciate about the band nowadays is that, even though they are all north of 50, they have progressively gotten heavier and heavier as they've gotten older.

Cristina Scabia and all the members of band are the most amazing and kind person I ever meet. In 2012 lacuna coil come to Greece for live and I am not big fan of band but I go with my sister because she is big fan back then and I know some songs from them. When the live ends many people goes from the back of the club and waiting the band for autograph some photos and stuff like that. When the band come out every body talk and take photos like we know it's other and my sister take photos with all members together and separate. But the most special for me was a person there to talk with his friend he isn't coming to live because he is sick and Cristina take the phone from this man and speak with his friend and this is something I never see again in my life and I thing I never see it again it's so respectful movement to their fans!

My dad and I won meet and greet tickets for Music as a Weapon IV back in 2009. Met the guys from Chimaera, Killswitch Engage (Howard era), Disturbed and Lacuna Coil. They were all really chill and down to earth in the time we got with them. Can confirm Cristina is super nice and did smell nice. 😂

100% agree with Cristina. I've seen very few people, especially after that many years, that still seem so happy just interacting with the fans. One of the shows I went to, they did a signing session after the show, and everyone was still in full stage dress & make-up, sweaty and probably exhausted af, and none of them was rushing it. Shaking hands, signing stuff, a bit of small talk (I'm still waiting for the tour with Jinjer she said they'd love to do 😅)... they seemed to genuinly enjoy every bit of it. Just a bunch of nice (and in her case VERY nerdy) people who happen to be in a famous band. (and ngl, even in her early 50s... dayum...)
