Was at the game, stayed till the end so I could wave my towel and cheer for the team as they left. Guy behind my row cussed us out saying we shouldn’t be celebrating what just happened. Felt bad for him tho carrying around that negativity when u could just support and have faith in a team that’s shown they deserve it all season. Thanks for the great vids nuckhead :)) 4-3 nucks win

Just before the missed open net attempt by Petey, he had another high quality chance in almost the same spot but instead of shooting it he looked for that perfect pass. His head is simply not in the game right now & the Canucks need him if they want to go far especially with Demko out. He is seriously second guessing out there. Petey needs to relax and let the game come to him.

How long have you been a Canucks fan in this city? This is par for the course, completely expected reaction. Most Canucks fans are fairweather fans who don’t understand that most playoff series will have highs and lows. The Canucks dominated game 2 but things just didn’t go our way, it happens. If they win game 3, the same fans will resume parading down the streets holding a cup like a championship is coming.

After watching this, it is really apparent that the Canucks are clearly the better team. They dominated with puck possession, but couldn't get hardly anything through to Saros, or they were missing altogether. Props to the Preds for grinding out that win, they paid the price with their shot blocking. I think if the Canucks can play the same way in Nashville, we'll wear them down with our physical play and their shot blocking.

36 blocked shots 40 missed shots. That was the most winnable game ive seen. But lets be real. So many bad bounces went against us, especially that first goal

When I heard the Demko news, I had flashbacks to when Dan Cloutier got injured in the first round of the playoffs against the Flames. It was an absolutely terrible feeling then the same as it is now. Maybe you could ask Brendan about that and how they dealt with that news as a team and any advice he has for our team now in the same situation? If I’m not mistaken, he scored the OT winner of game 6 to get us to game 7. It was like three overtimes. Thanks for keeping us focused on the positive, Nuckhead!

Thanks for showing the positive aspects of the game. They had over 80 Shots and were trying their hardest. It was just bad puck luck and damn blocked shots from the Preds. I have faith. Go Canucks Go!

Letting in the first shot you face as a goaltender is one of the most demoralizing things. That was always a small something that was in the back of my head every time I stepped onto the ice. Feel for DeSmith

DeSmith is a really solid backup, but I wouldn't want to have to rely on him to win a series. Petey really needs to step up and start scoring again

I am only going to start worrying if the Canucks are down 3-1. Until then, I am going to enjoy great playoff hockey. C'mon folks this is not the Leafs we are talking about, the world doesn't end with a loss. The Canucks need to get their mojo back and start playing like we saw them in the regular season. Great puck control, great defensive play, and scoring on a regular basis. They are going to be fine. DeSmith is no slouch and if he gets to play on Friday, he will show us that. If Silvos plays instead, I am confident that he can get it done too. EP 40 needs to shoot every puck and only pass if there is a better scoring chance. He is very hockey smart and he will start playing like we expect him to. 4-1 W for the Canucks on Friday and a 7-3 win on Sunday and then back to Vancouver to finish the series with a 3-0 win. Go Canucks Go!!!

I don't have much confidence in Silovs, unfortunately. From what I saw of him in the regular season, his positioning wasn't quite there, didn't look like a pro goaltender. He looked small in the net, which is unusual. I hope we don't have to use him, I don't believe he's playoff ready yet.

Was there, it was the most frustrating game to watch. The shots were essentially all scoring chances the Canucks realistically had close to 50 legit shots that if it wasn’t for all the blocks. They dominated that game and if the puck bounced out way, Petey and others didn’t miss open nets that game ends 6-2

Demko being out sucks for sure, but if the Canucks blast the net like that every game in this series, I can't help but think that the goals will come eventually... the Canucks hardcore outworked Nashville that game, but gotta give them props for all those blocks. I have faith, it's only 1-1. Van 5-4 tonight in Game 3.

Remember 2011 vs Nashville was W L W W L W Our boys Won game 1 at home (1-0), Lost game 2 (2-1 in Double OT) at home Went to Nashville and won both games. (3-2 In OT) and (4-2) Came home and lost game 5 (4-3) Went back to Nashville for 6 and won it (2-1)

Pass was way behind Petey, by the time shot left his stick, goalie had moved at least 3 feet. Still should have hit the net at least, but not as brutal as first looked.

Canuck's biggest problem in Game 2 was 3-fold; sloppy passes; almost every play, every player tried to make one too many moves - trying to be fancy loses games (and the one time a player DIDN'T try to be fancy, we scored); and inability to hold the blue line. All in all, it was a sloppy game by the Canucks. I'm sure the news of Demko being out hit them hard, and Nashville has twice the playoff experience on their roster. But really, aside from coming out of the gates with the hard hits right from puck drop, they need to just play like they have all regular season. Game 2 they seemed to be trying too hard to play like they were all the Sedins. If they just play solid, play smart, AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD make sure there's a player where they pass to, they'll be just fine going forward. But, they have to make those changes, and not be so dang sloppy. Because that was more akin to junior-level hockey than pro. I look forward to seeing how they deal with and fix their issues next game!

They couldn't convert on the powerplays and can't score on empty net opportunities. Predators are starting to mark Quinn Hughes more often. Casey Desmith has to better as well. If the Canucks lose this series, I blame DJ Heers music video. "One time for thatcher Demko" smh
