I think Poseidon is a worse boon for the attack in this context, because Aphrodite aplies weak and Dionisio applies hangover, two debuffs at the same time will increase the damage percentage considerably, as you can punch 5 times to apply weak, jab to apply hangover and spam punches again until you have to apply the hangover again. Unless you take family's favorite on the mirror, but it will still increase the damage a lot considering the number of gods

I also feel attacked! Demeter and Artemis calls r my fav, literally Also if u take ares cast + artemis (and eventually their duo) + ares cast boosts, it gets REALLY GOOD. So as does demeter cast, JEEZ, WITH ARTEMIS DUO IT IS BASICALLY A TURRET. My fav cast choice whatsoever. But i get that it is ur own oppinion, just wanted to drop a half-joke abt being attacked! Honestly your odds of ever getting a build like this are very unlikely, and I don't think this is the worst combination at all, as aphrodite on attack and artemis on dash are way too powerful even without crits. Play fists as intended with the attack button taped down and mashing dash constantly, and with both the largest damage percentage buff in the game from aphrodite and the only dash strike boon in the game which actually gives you more base damage than Artemis' regular attack, and while you may not see a big difference in numbers from one attack...let's be honest, you're not doing burst damage with this unless youre using maim to enhance your damage which only makes it better. You're likely gonna get over a 100% damage increase with just those two boons, no passives, no hammers, alone with maybe just a few poms or one of them being rare. Plus gilgamesh if i remember right naturally increases your damage, and you basically get a situation where, YOU, have become the status ailment. No amount of dionysus can match the dps of a speedy boy with some hands. That's why I never see a point in getting Dionysus on fists. If you're not dash striking constantly like an ADHD bee swarm in the shape of a man, you're not playing fists right in my opinion. You reach a point where offense becomes the best defense because enemies can't hurt you if they're dead. And then you also realize Aphrodite is the best defence...because she straight up gives you defense and reduces any damage you take by 30%, and increases damage you deal by 100% with just one decent boon. And honestly, one decent boon is all you need or want most of the time, because if anything, this just shows the worst build is being spread too thin and not being great at anything, as if you get this many gods at once, good luck trying to find anything before Elysium.

Maim doesn’t just deal huge damage it also increases the damage enemies take while they are maimed. Plus, Ares blade dash is insane with Gilgamesh’s extra dashes. The shorter dash distance enables you to stack the blades closer together for greater dps. When going Gilgamesh it’s way better to take the 50% dodge and damage on near miss then going for extra dashes. Yeah extra dashes help you deal more damage with your dash attacks but that’s compensated for by the 50% bonus plus your extra damage from maim. Also the dodge chance can reach insane levels with the right Hermes boons.

i main gilgamesh... the hammer buff that makes dash strikes do like 750% damage to armor is absurd, and it was also one of my first wins IIRC

for aphrodite attack: because the weak effect is so trash, aphrodite's attack can pretty much double your damage with just epic level 1 so its really not bad

for me personally i think all the hidden aspects are broken as long as you learn to use them. i personally love using gilgamesh because of the 3 dashes

bruh demeter cast is so fucking bad it's a comically slow beam, it is literally slower than a brimstone enemy (laser crystal), the second the enemy moves all your damage is GONE

worst cast: definitely aphrodite. worst attack: I would have to say posidon because with fists you need to be melee and posidon does knockback which is SUPER annoying. worst special: dionysis/demeter. worst dash: definitely artemis. worst call: zeus, since it really does not do enough damage to justify a call

the maim's damage isn't the only thing it can do, it gives a global debuff of 25% - so flat damage sources are really strong (see: doom) also the inherent dashes mean you can run ruthless reflex, essentially giving you 50% damage and 50% dodge chance when its up, which is uhhhhhh good i hear (its way better than talos and zag fist in my opinion)
