Fun fact When Em recorded MMLP 2 he did a track that was a tribute to old school hip hop. It was called Don't front but it didn't make it on the album and this shows why Em is one of the best ever because the beat was so old fashioned but his writing and his flow was absolutely gorgeous. Anyone that doesn't like the 2bd part of Em career should definitely listen to that song. Melle mel should listen to it to know how to do an old school rap song

Look what just happened with Neyo when he spoke down about trans shit, it went viral, he got backlash, then his publicist wrote an apology on his behalf without his knowledge, Neyo woke up in the morning, saw it, took it down, then doubled down on his previous comments letting everyone know he didn't even know his people did that on his behalf. I honestly believe melle mel just hates every rapper that came after his prime. He even dissed run dmc all the way back in 1983 because he didn't like their first single. He believes he's the best because he was one of the first, forgetting that just because you're an originator of an art form doesn't make you better than everyone else at it. EZ Mil is talented, he was a Heavy Metal and Rock artist but decided to focus on Rap / Hip Hop to become more noticeable. He could sing, dance, play electric guitar, and rap/speak in 3 different languages. Not only that but he has studied engineering and architecture. With all this talent in his skillset it makes him very creative. At 23 years old he's young and potentially do great things in the future.

I'd love to see a renaissance of rappers just dissing each other so we can see more horrible ones like this, but also get another "Story of Adidon" I mean holy shit the Joyner/Lanez back and forths were pure gold. Rap has always been competitive and I enjoy watching genuine clashes of skill (or lack thereof)

It’s fun watching this post-Kendrick v Drake. Kendrick breathed new life into the art of the diss track. Drake made a compositionally “better” track than Melle, but Melle just looks like a goofball here. Drake made himself look like a creep, a coward, a liar and a dumbass. His L was far far more damaging

If he really respected Mel he wouldn't have mentioned him in the first place. Em has a thing for easy targets. He's too lyrically skilled to keep playing around with those who aren't, even if they mention him first. When you're at a certain level, some people you just ignore. You save your energy for people worth battling and their raggamuffin hangers-on
