Once, while on vacation, i realized i had forgotten my toothbrush. Thank goodness i'm super clever. I just pulled out some bristles from my hairbrush, then used superglue to attach the bristles to a pencil. Problem solved! Pretty sure Jackie is gonna ask me to join the team.😊 Just kidding...this stuff is garbage. The only good use for 5 Minute Crafts is to watch you and James roast them.

The freckle trick is something used in art as well. When we had the starry sky phase, it was a very common trick to use with white gouache or acrylics.

The last hack is a bastardized version of the technique by Smitha Deepak (she has a popular youtube chanel). There is some blending involved, and there is a learning curve to the technique (I did terribly the first few times, now I am ok-ish, but nowhere as good as her. However, it still saves me some time on the more dramatic looks, which is the whole point). Would love for Robert to watch a few videos of her and react to her easy and quick techniques.

A trick I use for powdering clients lips is to take a tissue and make it one ply, lay it over the lip then powder. The one ply tissue acts as a meshing system so, you don't over powder and get a more even distribution. It will matte you lip color. 💋

@@russianraichu Yes! Where you really feel Marcus’ input is if you watch videos on their shared ‘Welsh Twins’ channel, which is much more silly and chaotic than their individual, professional ones. (They’re hilarious together- I’m often in tears laughing along with them.) Marcus edits those in a way that is so rude and sarcastic about them that only a sibling could get away with it. You must switch the subtitles on for full effect! He’s appeared in a couple of their early videos if you’re curious, but also has his own channel and does his own thing too. Talented bunch.

I was taught that powder trick on the lips back in the 80's but a bit different. I was taught to place a tissue (Kleenex) over the lips and to tap the powder on over the tissue (it does go thru the tissue but catches the bulk of it so it doesn't get cakey looking). That way your lips are set but they don't LOOK powdery. It did work.

Yeah- this tip was in every article in every magazine at one point. You were supposed to separate the tissue so you just had one layer

I tried one for getting wrinkles out of a dress, you basically just shower and put the dress in the bathroom in a hanger, and the steam helps, it worked for me, but I saw people saying it didnt for them, so...

The lipstick monochromatic make up is exactly what I do with Maybelline vinyl ink lipsticks, I love to use them as blush and eyeshadow, the orangey nude looks amazing and it lasts.

Will there ever be a time when their viewers get a clue and realize that they’ve seen the same “hacks” endlessly cut, pasted and posted in another video yet again?? 5 Min Crafts ran out of new “hacks” long ago, yet somehow viewers continue to watch the same content ceaselessly. The channel shows horrendously idiotic clips but knowing that millions of people continue watching the same nonsense over and over … those viewers are even further along on the idiot scale.

Did anyone else notice the jump in editing with the eyeshadow "hack"? The right eye, (left on screen) blended into one single colour, them jumps to nicely blended with the gold at the inner eye. Watch it again, and you'll pick it up. I love watching Robert, (and James) roast the heck out of these ridiculous 5 minute hacks! They always make me laugh, which makes me love them all the more!! 🤣🤣💜💙

In japan pinkish red on the eyes, lips, cheeks, nose and eyebrows are popular and red is popular in china. It can most of the time look like you are sick or an eye infection or like a rash or something but it’s still very popular in Asia

My 13 yr old niece and I have been watching these vids for a few yrs and I'm constantly saying to her, "please don't ever try that", "that one may kill you", "you'll damage your eyeballs with that one", etc. We never actually tried any of them.

a whiiiiile ago when i was a teenager, i followed this diy "pore strip" hack from a popular beauty youtuber that involved like heating up like gelatin powder with idk water or some shit idr the exactly recipe since it has to have been over 10 years ago. but oh my god the STENCH of it was awful. i did brave through the smell and put that shit on my nose and let it dry as instructed and it literally did absolutely nothing. after that i just never tried anymore "hacks" or anything diy lmao i was just too lazy and also why even risk it anymore
