whey protein should be on the top of this list. Whey protein is a dairy product that contains mammalian estrogen which has a negative effect on your hormone levels. Also being a diary product it is highly acidic and will contribute to calcium loss, decrease in bone strength, calcium crystal buildup in the joints causing arthritis, and an inhibited ability to recover from a workout.

I disagree with the L-Arginine. I have taken it and it increased the size of my veins. meaning more blood is getting into my muscles due to the larger veins. Thus it helps me pump. I used it for about a month made my veins bigger and then i stopped taking it because it just became bigger in general. It is a muscle building assist.

@DvSPkServer Yes. Protein contains amino acids. Amino acids are the building blocks for protein. So of course your protein powder contains it. My point is this, those proteins only get digested in the small intestine, which means the breakdown takes awhile. Supplementing with pure BCAAs, Aminos, and Glutamine will mean the amino acids do NOT need to be broken down, so uptake begins in the stomach, and the digestive enzyme cascade is not needed.

I never take pre-formulated preworkouts. I make my own by buying the ingredients in bulk. I put only effective ingredients like beta-alanine, bcaa, and citrulline and other things that work for me like GPLC. It works a lot more effectively than pre-formulated ones and cost less on the long run. I even compared it with preworkouts like NO xplode and none of them surpass my own. My friends tried it like that too.

hello , i do calisthenics and it may be a placebo effect but when im taking bcaas i drive my workouts really uptempo or else it takes more to get excausted thus can train either harder or more plus a better pump that fades away in matter of hours tho , with creatine , although havent tried it with calisthenics but back when i was weight training it gives a similiar effect but with a tottally diferent approach , it just gives u a boost on the initial first mooves thus u can squeeze ~2 more reps and seems it lessens alot the rest time between sets thus an uptempo workout , the water retention makes up the pump wich lasts way more you should know tho , both messes with ur organs , while bcaas alters the way body handles insuline spikes creatine spikes ur cpk creatinine and its better to take some cardio related examines before start taking it
