I am a Reds fan. It is ridiculous! I swear every night/day I check the score it is 10-2 Reds losing. It looks and feels like this team is going to lose 100 games. Two years of being somewhat competitive, and then the Castellini's just blow the team up!? Please sell the team to someone who can at least balance trying to win a world series and making money!

Good video! Just a little pointer, when you were reading Castellanos’ quote, would have been a bit easier to follow if you had his quote on screen somehow so we still knew it was him speaking, as it was so long.

You know that lady owner of the Indians from the movie Major League? Remember how she intentionally drafted players that were terrible for the purpose of coming last so that they could relocate to Miami? I feel like that’s exactly what the Reds owner wants to do.

Same ownership that instead of resigning Johnny Cueto, Wade Miley, or even Edinson Volquez, gave Homer Bailey a 17.5 million dollar a year contract for 6 years worth a total of 105 million dollars. Then Bob literally gave a promotion to the guy who worked up the contract for Bailey and decided to dump Cueto, Miley, and Volquez. The Castellinis aren't just awful owners and a holes, they have no idea what they are doing.

This video did not age well. 2023 was an enormous turnaround, and it was due to the "nobodies" Cincinnati got in return for their trades. The Reds got Spencer Steer, Christian Encarnacion-Strand, Jake Fraley & Noelvi Marte for Mahle, Suarez, Winker and Castillo. They dumped a ton of salary, but within a year the moves paid off. Winker will probably be out of baseball soon. They also knew that they had Elly De La Cruz and Matt McLain waiting in the wings. Cincinnati also has prospects from those trades and others that are looking really good in the minors. Now that there's no $25 million paycheck for Votto, they're going to have some extra cash to get some pieces through free agency, or they have it to sign these young guys to long term contracts. I don't think the Castellinis had much to do with it; this was a win for the scouts. It looked terrible at the time, but the rebuild, so far, has worked.

Eric how’s your ‘turnaround’ year looking this year? Reds are 8.5 games out of first and in the Cellar yet again and choke as soon as they get within a game or two of .500 and this is with essentially all the same guys as 2023 less Joey Votto and adding Candelario who hasn’t shown a whole hell of a lot other than he’s streaky as all hell

@@zachhoward9099 Tell me you know nothing about this team without telling me you know nothing about this team. They've been missing McLain and Marte all year; CES has apparently been injured all year, and has been on the IL since the first week of May; Friedl missed 2 months. Fraley and India both missed a good amount of time. So, no, this hasn't been the same team they had last year. Candelario had one bad month; he's hitting near .300 with plenty of pop in his bat since the very end of April. He's absolutely on fire in June. And the Reds were playing great over the previous 20 games before they lost 2 in Milwaukee, who's a pretty damn good team, and losing the opener tonight vs Pittsburgh with Skenes on the mound. That's not choking; that's having 162 games in a season and not being able to win them all. There are only 5 National League teams with a record of .500 or better, and Cincinnati is still only 1.5 games back of the 3rd Wild Card spot. Get bent.

I love baseball, grew up a Reds fan, but I have lost my feeling for the team, because of the stupid things that Bob does! He has no interest in putting together a winning team, it is all about money deals with him! If he sells the team, I will come back, but I will continue to cheer on my Dad's team until then! Let's go Mets! ⚾

you think this dude is bad? well clearly you haven’t heard of Ken Kendrick. His team plays in the 5th largest city in the U.S. (Phoenix, AZ) and the team’s current payroll is bottom 5 in the entire MLB plus the team has only made the playoffs once in the past 10 years, as a diamondbacks fan myself im honestly surprised nobody talks about how awful ken kendrick is
