I've never made a movie, a TV show, or a short film, but I'm pretty sure this show, Obi-Wan Kenobi, is absolute garbage. I'm also not the biggest star wars nerd on the planet, but I don't think I get too into weeds as far as lore goes. I'm actually curious to know if I'm alone on this, the show got an 87% on rotten tomatoes and I was shocked. Thanks for watching as always :)

My biggest problem with Disney star wars is that everything feels so small. The sets, locations, stories and characters. Nothing has that grand feeling it used to have
@BT-ex7ko

Money, money, money, money. It's all about cutting costs and having a high profit margin for doing as little work as possible. Yeah they have well known actors in this particular show for PR/Advertising, but overall the costs cut on staff elsewhere makes a big difference. I've never watched this so I have no idea who wrote the episodes, but just one single screenwriter can blast out a episode in under a few hours-the downside? No detail and all fluff. Just from the clips in here the costumes are probably all desert farmers because they're cheap to make. The sets are small because they're easy to make. Don't like someone's delivery of a line? Keep it anyway, saves on time. Disney and it's subsidiaries stopped caring about quality a while ago. It's an investment, It's not meant to be entertaining-and that's what makes this so sad. I know it's stated it was 25 million per episode, but until I see a breakdown, I don't believe nearly any of that money went into actual production.

@mashy6126
@mashy6126 Жыл бұрын
Also the fact that the opening sequence has dialogue from the prequels in which Yoda and Kenobi are talking and Yoda mentions that he has "special training" for Obi-wan, that of course regarding the force ability of communing with force ghosts. However, despite Kenobi anticipating the results of this training, he's also completely given up hope in the force and the way of a Jedi. It just doesn't make sense, almost as much as Luke deciding to try and cut down a sleeping Ben Solo, when years earlier he refused to kill the evil Sith Lord, Darth Vader, because he could tell there was conflict within him.

The only show is Mandalorian I've seen so when Boba Fett appeared I had no idea who he was but he was badass. So It's natural that I would see The Book Of Boba Fett show and it was so forgettable and medicore. quality of Mando and Boba show is day and night. *EDIT* I wrote the original comment before Andor came out, obviously now I’m glad it got the budget that it did because it was a masterpiece lol The fact that “Andor” seems to have a significantly higher budget and production quality than the series about one of the most iconic Star Wars characters of all time (with the original, beloved actors returning) is simply mind boggling to me.

It just started filming before Obi wan pre pandemic when they were still using traditional filming methods. Obi wan was filmed during and after andor when Disney started to make more use out of the volume stage and move away from traditional location shooting. That’s why andor looks better than obi wan as it’s real location and obi wan is a soulless cgi stage (which still looked amazing just not as cinematic). Don’t think it’s anything to do with budget No doubt series 2 of andor will be done in the same way as obi, mando, book of boba Fett etc as it’s now ‘caught up’ to the newer filming methods Disney seems to want to use going forward. @Homer Given that line in a new hope “when I left you, I was but a learner” it fits best with their last interaction being on volcano world. Due to Anakins ego, he phrases it “when I left you” despite him being the one who was left, and it was their last interaction on volcano-word that ended their padawan/master relationship. So it makes complete sense for that fight to be their last interaction, but their fight in the Kenobi show ruins all of that.

When that doesn't work she goes off to murder a child on a random planet. She changes her mind so all the years of war crimes are instantly forgiven. I bet that woman whose hand she just chopped off to prove a point would just love that. She doestn want to write more good Star Wars, she wants to cram her bulshit and message. As it was said " Burn the past if you have to" . All the shows are about deconstructing old characters and trying to push her new ones or the few ones that fits her agenda liek Leia ( Last Jedi, Boba Fett, Obi Wan, now Mandalorian. ) , same goes for alien races. Why create High Republic when you got Old Republic? Becuase she wants to erase everything that was before her.

This show was awful and gets worse the more I think about it. There was no story to tell here. We already knew how things had to end up before this series even started production. Thing is that Disney can churn these shows out, quality be damned, and people will watch and talk about them. I watched it and I haven't seen any of the Mandalorian, for example! These shows aren't about telling compelling stories or expanding on the Star Wars universe in any meaningful way (if there is even is a meaningful way to do so anymore). It's about making money. It's about getting fans to point at the screen and say "WOW! I can't believe it, Quinlan Vos got mentioned! I know him! That's so cool!!!!" Even though it meant nothing, like 99% of dialogue in this show. It's about milking this stuff until there is nothing left, and the Star Wars well has been dry since The Last Jedi. There's just no repairing this series' reputation at this point, at least not by Disney. You said it best at the start. There was no fun to be had with this show. While the quality of Star Wars has never always been the highest, it at least used to be fun. This video was fun, though. Awesome stuff.

I remember the feeling I had when leaving the cinema after having watched The Force Awakens. I had been sceptical prior to the movie coming out, but I decided to give it a shot anyway. Immediately I felt something was off, and when returning home I felt agitated and disappointed, but I couldn’t quite put my finger on what was troubling me. My friends all liked the movie, but I was left feeling hurt and cheated, resembling how I’d feel when having had a conversation with someone being passive aggressive towards me. I went on KZfaq to see if others felt the same way, and I remember coming across multiple videos of people sharing their reactions and their analysis of the movie, detailing their disdain for what they had just seen. I remember sitting there literally going «YES! YES! EXACTLY!» to EVERY. SINGLE. point being brought up…! Watching people put into words what I was subconsciously feeling and speaking out about it was such an incredible breath of fresh air. In that moment, I vowed to never again waste a single minute of my time watching anything of such a politicised and preachy nature, where storytelling is sacrificed for whatever reason, to an extent where it looses all entertainment value. I just want to say that I’m incredibly thankful for people like you, who keep it real and call out bullshit when you see it! And that is exactly what Disney hopes every single one of their fans is like. They throw big names like Obi-Wan and Darth Vader at you because they think you’re stupid. Yes, they have no respect for their viewers and they think you are all morons. Because this franchise is not important to them, because they know no matter how much they butcher the characters people will still pay to watch. Yeah, let's be honest. This show is kinda trash. I didn't see many people talk about this but the choreography, cinematography and camerawork were absolutely atrocious. Not a single action scene or lightsaber duel feels exciting. The first duel between Obi-Wan and Vader is just unredeemable. The camera is shaking like crazy all the time, there are too many pointless closeups and editing is way too fast with constant barrages of cuts. Compare that to a Darth Maul duel from Episode 1. This duel was shot 20 odd years ago and should be a fkin golden standard for every subsequent duel. It's great because of amazing choreography and epic music, not because of a million cuts, closeups and shaky cam. There are shots during this epic duel that last almost 10 seconds! 10 SECONDS! Unthinkable now. The camera is very steady and characters are pretty much always fully in frame so it's easy to follow the action and see exactly what's happening. We can watch this duel and appreciate the choreography and actors' performance. It's great. The first Obi-Wan vs Vader duel in the show is just a chaotic mess with zero tension and zero cool moves. Reva vs Vader duel is not much better. It feels like a parody of a Dark Souls boss fight. She starts doing fkin random somersaults around Vader who is too lazy to even face her. Instead, he clumsily smacks the ground around Reva like a video game boss whose attacks are designed to be easily dodgeable. The final Obi-Wan vs Vader duel is also terrible. Obi-Wan does random somersaults, there are bizarre top-down shots (I've never seen anything like this in a good action scene) and everything feels cheap af. It's like a fan movie or something. Even the music is surprisingly terrible. Disney has the rights to all the Star Wars music they want, but for some reason, Obi-Wan's score is just some generic "action music" that sounds like it was downloaded from a music library. Star Wars fan movies have better music than this! Rewatch the first Obi-Wan vs Vader duel and pay attention to the music. Just listen. It's just some random action piece that doesn't feel like Star Wars and it doesn't even match up with what's happening on the screen. It feels like random "combat music" in a video game that automatically starts playing when you enter a fight.

So I studied screenwriting in college so I LOVE coming up with my own movie/show alternatives to the shit we often get. So here is MY pitch for the Obi-Wan show I would have wanted. The story revolves around Obi wan on Tatooine trying to adapt to his new life as a simple hermit, hiding his powers from the locals, the conflict between him and Owen over the future of Luke. and a new threat that emerges in the area. No, Obi does NOT leave the planet and there is no Vader or Leia in this story. He remains in the area because his main priority is his core mission. To protect Luke. But just because this is a smaller self contained story on one planet with minimal lightsaber fights, does not mean it has to be boring. For instance Obi can struggle with moral dilemma of staying neutral in a harsh corrupt environment. The fact that he's this uber powerful warrior war hero, but every day he has to watch as the locals are bullied and murdered by local gangs. Yet he can't do anything because it might risk his core mission. Maybe one night during a sandstorm he finally goes out to takes care of the bullies in a stealthy way that won't reveal himself. However this action has unforeseen consequences in that it still attracts unwanted attention. First come the imperial inquisitors seeking Jedi. However they end up finding the wrong Jedi hidden on Tatooine. Instead of locating Obi-wan, they find Sharad Hett. (Googgle him) He's living among the Tusken Raiders acting as their chief. Hett brutally wipes them all out in a display of his power, showing him to be a far greater threat. The inquisitors finding his hidden location prompts him to take action. He expect more Jedi hunters to arrive, and eventually Vader. Hiding is no longer an option, so he decides to rally his raiders and take control of the area. With the raider clans united, he can hope to fend off any further imperial forces. He becomes a warlord of a massive raider force who burn and pillaging settlements all over the planet. Eventually Obi realizes he must face Hett, since he's only one one powerful enough to take on the dark jedi. So the two square off in a duel pretty much exactly as it happens in the Legends comics (link below). In the end, Obi wan is victorious, Hett is defeated but still alive, the raider war-party scatters after watching their leader get defeated and shamed, and the threat to the area is gone. Since Obi spares Hett from death, the dark jedi eventually goes on to become the future sith lord Darth Krayt. This sets up a proper villain in future Star Wars projects. starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Duel_on_Tatooine_(Imperial_Period)

I liked the general essence of the Obi-Wan series overall, but this would have been wonderful to see, really well done. Thanks for writing something constructive and creative. It’s not that I think Disney Star Wars is flawless, it’s just a salt-mine reading the same criticisms over and over. At least Disney is creating something, and to be honest a lot of other ideas for stories I’ve read from fans are just not that interesting (to me, anyway). I agree with the majority of this video and loved it. However disagree on a few parts. I feel the idea of an Obi Wan who has completely lost hope after losing his best friend to the dark side (and/or Anakin’s death) the fall of the Jedi, the rise of the Empire, being hunted by Inquisitors, and riddled with PTSD is a very interesting concept and they could’ve absolutely smashed this. The visions he has in his cave and when he calls out for Qui Gonn are really sorrowful and evoke sympathy for Ben. Tho this is hard to balance with his obligation to train Luke and creates a plot hole of losing hope but still wanting to train Luke so the Jedi can rise again. I think they could have gone down the route of the reason being for Obi wanting to still train Luke is because he sees his father in him and is holding onto the brotherhood he once had with Anakin as opposed to wanting to train him for the Jedi to rise again. Then transitioned his view with a character arc after interactions with Vader than he mustn’t train Luke because he is the son of Anakin (I.e. his lingering attachment to Anakin), he must train Luke because he’s “our” only hope (remember he doesn’t know Leia is force sensitive) to take down Vader, igniting Obi Wan’s hope. This would’ve been really touching and reinforced his referral to Anakin as “Darth” in Episode IV, exemplifying he sees Anakin and Darth Vader as two seperate entities (The quote “More machine than human” would definitely be supported by this view point), Anakin his gone and “Darth” is all that remains. Also when Vader doesn’t force push the Fire out, I feel it’s because he wants to fight Obi Wan when he’s at his full strength (how he gets his full strength back in like 2 seconds for their fight in the final episode I have no idea). But nah fr, chase scenes in this show were complete booty. Had so much potential for a focus for Obi and Vader focus with minor focuses on Luke, Leia and the Inqusitors, instead we got the Leia show, which is a real shame. If they don’t give us a Vader show now where he literally rips people apart with the force I’m gonna be so cut. Hyped for Ashoka tho, in Dave Filoni we trust.

There's a lot of good point here that i never realized. But i love this show because we finally get to see ewan as obi wan and hayden as Anakin/Vader again, it just makes me happy. I understand why obi wan was trying to live a normal life, he's been living with all these memories of order 66 and the guilt of Anakin turning wich i assume is blaming it on him. But then after Vader told him that he isn't his failure and that Vader was the one that killed anakin. He kind of set him free to be the old ben we know from a new hope and rebels, not hiding anymore. Now let's talk about the Vader vs Obi wan fight which was the best thing in this show and i though it was well done. All these references from old projects and emotional lines between Vader and Obi wan made this show a lot better. And don't make me start taking about Qui gon or the "Hello there". I also think the reason vader didn't blow out the fire again is because he didn't really care if kenobi escaped, he just wanted to strike fear within him. As for the ship escaping, it takes immense strength to stop a ship from flying with the force, i know vader has the power, but let's not forget that his suit is holding him back, and i think i was a bit late for him since it was already in the sky. Over all, i really enjoyed this show and thought it was enjoyable, or maybe I'm biased because obi wan is my favorite. But at the end of the day, I'm just glad that we have star wars content to watch especially with Ewan and Hayden coming back.

I feel like a lot of people give this show a pass because of the finale (for some reason). But it really takes away a lot of the narrative quality of the OT and the Prequels. The duel of the fates was the climax of Anakin’s and Obi Wan’s relationship. It was heartbreaking, tragic and well built up. But guess what? They go through all of that again years later and Obi Wan kicks Vader’s ass again. So from now one the duel of the fates is just the day Vader turned crispy.🤷🏼‍♂️ Edit: I mixed up the duel of the fates with the duel between Vader and Obi Wan in Ep3

I believe that the Clone Wars was the single most greatest form of Star Wars media made. It added much needed lore to a conflict that was hinted at ever since began. Following a main cast of Obi-Wan, Anakin, Ahsoka, and Captain Rex, with different individual side stories sprinkled along the way was genius. It felt like a gigantic Star Wars movie, where every episode (excluding the one off dud) had some sort of purpose to the larger story, or an individual character. The fact that Obi-Wan Kenobi saw way more development from the Darth Maul episodes in the Clone Wars rather than his own show was insane. I feel that if Disney was to make a Star Wars TV Show with a Clone-Wars style approach to episodes, except have it placed in a different era (possibly in between IV & V). We would have a show that doesn't feel like it needs to add filler to its stories just to fit the episode count. After seeing Obi-Wan, I have lost interest in anything Star Wars. I swear, there is nothing cool coming out related to Star Wars anymore.

The weird thing is that there were no trailers of this show in my country. It’s s bit my fault, because I rarely use social media. So I only knew that I would come out sometime. I went to Disney + a few weeks ago and I saw the whole series was already online. So I had almost no hype for this and I was still disappointed.

I know this is months later but I still can’t get over the scene where the Red Hot Chili Peppers chase Leia. Gotta disagree with little Leia. I think she far outstayed her welcome, but showing her background as a princess and what her life was like on Alderaan was great since we had no idea what that was like in ANH. Her planet blows up and we don’t really care as much because we know nothing about her or her people. Using her as a way to get Obi Wan off of Tatooine was a smart move for the show, because what is gonna make Obi Wan leave Luke except for Anakin’s other child. I think the young actress really channeled Carrie Fisher’s sassy attitude from ANH. Her performance was quite good in my opinion. But she should have been in 2 episodes tops. Her needing to be rescued multiple times was ridiculous and took precious time away from what this show was SUPPOSED to be about. Anakin and Obi Wan.

The difference in dialogue is what really kills it for me. Just look at these two immaculate pieces of world-building to introduce The Emperor before we ever even see him in Return of the Jedi; "Luke... do not... underestimate the powers of the Emperor... or suffer your father's fate you will." Yoda. "The Emperor is coming here...? We'll redouble our efforts!" *"I hope so Commander, for your sake... The Emperor is not as forgiving as I am."* Vader has spent the past 2 films choking people to death for minor infractions, and yet he considers himself forgiving by comparison. And Yoda is a wise and powerful Jedi Master. Before Palpatine even shows his face on screen, we *know* he is not to be fucked with, we *know* he is the final hurdle that Luke will have to overcome.And so when he shows up, face still partially obscured, wearing ominous black robes, perfectly content and seemingly without a shred of anger in him, it's more terrifying. No cringey self introduction or childish temper tantrum necessary.

The biggest issue I had with the show was how easily the Empire would be able to connect the Organa’s to Kenobi. Leia, daughter of Organa, was captured by the inquisitors and Kenobi is coming out of hiding to save her. I feel like in this scenario, it doesn’t matter if Kenobi is successful or not in saving Leia. The Organa’s would be immediately compromised and interrogated/ killed by the Empire. Idk if I missed something in particular but it seems like a massive oversight by the the writers.

Show kept me entertained, but it has 0 rewatch value besides the last episode and fight, it just feels so stale, like they tried to recreate the spark of Mando and absolutely failed in every way. In the entire show there were very few good moments that made any sense, i really liked them making a point to show the meat cutting job he’s working, to show how mundane and stale his life has become, from a great jedi to a old man hiding away in a cave working a very cheap paying meat cutting job.

I think this was a huge missed opportunity for Disney to “fix” the timeline, in a new hope it was made very clear that obi wan and Vader had not seen each other since episode 3, but now this does not make sense, and it was also clear that Leia was aware of obi wan from her father, but after this show they are practically best friends? All this show did was ruin the timeline even more.

"When I left you you were the master and I was but the learner" I always took this to mean when he left the order. Not when Anakin and Obi wan physically parted ways. And regardless, Vaders not thinking in that moment "hmmm is what I'm about to say consistent with the timeline?" Hes just trying to say what is most emotionally poignant. For the leia thing, when she contacts Obi wan she is officially requesting he return to his position as general. It was formal. And also she met him only once 9 years prior. I'm 19 right now. If someone saved my life when I was 10 and then dissappeared, we wouldn't automatically act like best friends when we met up again.

@@grady3251 even then, it then makes no sense to say that line there when they meet in the show. If anything, he would have said that line in the show first rather than in 4. Plus, with that viewpoint, it had the great way of being both when they last met AND Anakin leaving the order. Also, no. Leia would have this while journey scarred into her mind, especially the age of 10. She was kidnapped twice, force probed, nearly tortured, nearly fell to her death, was chased by Inquisitiors, saw a guardsman be shot, a trooper be sliced in half. And Obi wan, a jedi, kept her safe throughout all of that and says that he knows her parents. This isnt the equivalent of someone saying "I knew you when you were 9 and o said a few words to you". Hes her saviour. She would definitely bring that up in her message rather than saying "you served my father in the clone wars". She should say "You came to my aid all those years ago and now I must ask you to do so again for the sake of the galaxy." Still formal, still requests help and doesnt sound out of place. Its like saying you know a friend not through the fact we went to school in the same year but rather his dad was a teacher at that school.

Nailed this critique, *especially* with how you pointed out the track record of the people hired to write and direct the show. I was going to love Ewan in this no matter what, but the rest of the show was nearly irredeemable for me. Normally I shy away from investing any time putting down someone else's art--it's hard work and it's often better to just say nothing and let them try again in peace--but these money grabs by Disney are a net negative for Star Wars, and they need to know that the bar needs to be much, MUCH higher. Anyways, cheers to your video! Easy sub.

Reva: Why didn't you save us? Obi-Wan: Well, because I was sent to kill the lead general of the CIS army, who was in an Outer Rim system, because I was the Jedi Order's best duelist. But then after Order 66 had been given, I was shot by a tank and fell several hundred feet. And the clones had instituted martial law on the planet so I couldn't just fly away and by the time I was able to leave the Temple had already been razed. But I still went anyway to look for survivors, which I didn't need to do.

Solid honestly. I truly liked little Leia by the end of the show, I don’t think she was that terrible of a child actress, it was 110% the writing and directing of the show that was the cause of ALL of the problems. This Leia is a 10 year old, who looks like a 8 year old, and runs like a 6 year old, and , nobody can seem to catch her. She is one of the slowest humans that I have ever seen run and they have to go to such ridiculous lengths so the adults chasing her don't catch her in 3.0 seconds. Top that with Reva's constant yelling and wooden delivery of lines, the other inquisitors spitting their lines, the portrayal of Obiwan as a bumbling moron, and the continuous use of coincidence over intelligence to achieve objectives and this was one of the worst pieces of trash ever attached to the Star Wars franchise.

Oh man. A New Hope. Clearly never written with Obi Wan and Leia's past relationship in mind, we all know that. Leia's message to Obi Wan is so obviously spoken without the intent of knowing one another. The dialogue just becomes weird and invaluable once trying to form a connection between the two plots. What about the fact Luke using the name "Ben, Ben Kenobi and Obi Wan Kenobi" in front of her not form any reaction? How about when Obi wan literally dies? Its only been 10 years. She doesn't give a damn. Luke is the only one in the crew to show any negative emotion at his loss. Seriously? This flat out just doesn't work. Furthermore, the fight between Vader and obi wan has its dialogue also loose all weight it previously bared. I mean "I was the learner, now I am the master!"... C'mon! Yes, you could reconnect it to work for this new plot but it no longer holds the same power it once did. It is nothing but cope to believe otherwise. On top of this, have you seen rogue one recently? (edited) [7:02 PM] Bail organa literally says the lines- "He served me well in the clone wars" "He's lived in hiding since the emperors purge" This is to Mon Mothma. Hell, even in rebels (a show created by one of obi wans producers dave filoni) has Leia never telling ghost team of obi wan. Why? We know why - because no content, for literally decades, up until this point has ever considered this shows newly conceived plot. Christ, don't get me started on Palpatine of all people telling Vader to calm down... I'm sorry. I simply dont care if people like it - it just shouldn't exist and It solely depends that the viewers just straight up forget, live in blissful ignorance, denial or attempt to rationalise to an unfathomable degree. I think I need to give up on Star Wars. It's not healthy.

Honestly the concept of Obi Wan wanting to fight for what he can save but having to hide and lay low to train Luke would be an excellent choice, we could sympathise with his sheer pain of choice, of letting situations play out and people die for the hope that one day they will be able to have a chance to win. Even at episode 4 Obi Wan is shown to be optimistic and simply waiting till Luke is ready one day.

Hey Jack. Love the review. I agree with all points except the lightsaber fights. I’m an old school fan and I prefer the old canon of lightsabers being unwieldy and heavy. I hated the overly choreographed fights of the prequels. But the fights in kenobi suck. Except reva vs Vader. Tbh. If you have the force, why even bother with lightsabers in the first place?? I liked how Vader was just pushing her away to show dominance. He doesn’t have to put in effort cause she’s a nothing character. But I think that just comes down to what you want to get out from a Star Wars movie. Kenobi sucked but I’m surprised you didn’t mention how it was planned to be a movie but then last minute decided to be a TV show. That’s why nothing happens for most of the episodes. They had a 2 hour script they needed to stretch over 5+ hours.

Can we also talk about the half-baked inclusion of Qui-Gon at the very end? Like we got like a couple lines about him beforehand, but his appearance felt so unearned. Going into this show I was really hoping it would really delve into the Force. The best parts of Star War in my opinion are the parts actually dealing with the Force and the fight between the Jedi and Sith. We see this with Luke's training on Dagonah and the duel between Luke and Vader in the Emperor's chambers. We haven't gotten a genuinely good look at the force since Rebels and we had the perfect opportunity here. We could have seen Obi-Wan really learning to communicate with Qui-Gon and maybe delving into ancient Jedi/Sith ruins to reach some enlightenment in the Force as he deals with the scars of Order 66 and learns from his mistakes. He could have maybe come across the spirits of old Jedi/Sith masters sort of like Yoda did in Clone Wars or uncovered some Jedi/Sith artifact. To bring Vader in this could create some strong disturbance in the force that would attract him. Idk maybe I'm not selling this well, but we had the perfect opportunity to take a deep dive into both Obi-Wan and the force and it was completely wasted.

I couldn’t even make it to the end of episode two. I was really hopeful the series would be something good for Star Wars again, but god damn everything surrounding Leia’s kidnapping and rescue was just so bad. I legit couldn’t believe the initial chase scene, and as you said her reactions and writing to Obi-Wan as he was rescuing her were completely nonsensical. And even worse was that Obi-Wan just did the whole “aw you scamp” routine. Like ffs, the dude was supposedly completely broken and risked everything to come save her and all he could do in the face of her absurdity was chuckle and smile? I don’t mind seeing a broken and depressed Obi-Wan at the start of the series. He lost everything, everyone, and had to come to grips with the very foundations of what he believed in being shattered. It makes sense he’d be moping. But his reaction to a fellow jedi survivor was definitely weird given that he still wanted to train Luke when he came of age. And why only Luke? The fact that he didn’t want to rescue Leia felt like he didn’t much care about eventually training her. Such a mess. Much like Picard. They had people who didn’t give a shit about the original source material creating shows that banked completely on audience nostalgia while keeping none of the original spirit intact. I swear if the Kotor remake is bad I really am just done with the franchise. It’s clear there’s nothing left for me here.
