What’s wrong with Invisalign? Just tell the dude, “Hey, I have Invisalign and I’ve got to take it out to eat, can I run to the bathroom really quick?” Or just say you need to pee or something.

Pro tip: Store your retainers in cold water to reduce shrinkage. This way you can leave it in and won't have to worry too much about them not fitting later on - From my orthodontist 😀

My friend lost so much weight with Invisalign because she was too lazy to take them out and then clean them every time she wanted to eat something. So she ate a lot less.

This reminds me when I went to a restaurant and my mom told me to “take it off secretly” so no one would know. I didn’t care and still did it in front of the waiter. They didn’t care which proved my point to my mom. I said nothing to her but I knew I was right that no one cared.

If you heard and seen the process on my teeth you would scream 😅 I had all four canines impacted and my baby teeth never fell out (im 21) then I went in for surgery for an exposure and bond and the surgeon never did the exposure and bond so it was surgery for nothing ! My ortho was furious so now my ortho is being so nice and working with what he’s got so I have a tooth on the roof of my mouth laying flat that has a string pulled to one in the back to get it to move over and I have 2 springs on the bottom to keep my teeth from moving into the gaps where the surgeon never exposed and bonded the teeth to hope they come up .

Am i the only one who don't have issues with they invisalign ? I never run into these issues I see other people have & nobody never had an issue they mostly ask questions like how much are they, do they hurt & how long do I keep them in/out, it literally never caused an issue in my life besides having to brush my teeth every time I eat ...what I didnt know was how long your teeth took to start/stop moving, for 95% of the process I thought if I had them out for more than 20-30min they was gonna start shifting back so I always stressed about not having them out for so long but now ima stop stressing so much on the timing even though I'm about to be done in about 2months, process was amazing & results were exactly what I wanted

I have Invisalign and I recently had an appointment and they told me that I have to start wearing my rubber bands and then I can’t take them off when I eat so now I have to eat with my Invisalign on so that two of my teeth can jump forward so that the treatment can go faster because apparently every time I chew those two trees go exactly back where they were before so then I have to eat with them on

I would either A: take them out in the car (if you and your date rode separately) B: take them out in the bathroom (come up with a good excuse to go) C: leave them home (if you aren’t going to be out for a while) D: just tell them and take them out at the table (i wouldn’t recommend this if it’s a busy restaurant) And remember to never wrap them in napkins because they might get mistaken for trash and accidentally thrown away! Always bring a case or ziplock bag!
