Great stuff!! I can so relate to what he said. I’ve been married for 24 years and together for 28 and never farted around my wife since I met her - until I was paralyzed 2 years ago. It seems like my farts are making up for lost time now. Gotta laugh though!

Haha yeah after SCI the farts are no longer taboo 😂

For me the worst thing is feeling as if I'm attached to an object. Many times I think to myself it must feel so good to run up a staircase without having a wheelchair stuck to my butt. And then there's the part about not being able to participate in activities I love such as martial arts that involve kicking and applying a submission move with the use of legs.

Indeed. Those things are difficult for sure. I miss the freedom too. How long have you been injured?

@@FreddotheWheelchairGuy Became paralyzed when I got into a car accident at the age of 3 which was over 40 years ago. Compared to those who haven't been disabled long term it's probably easier for me to deal with it since I don't remember what it feels like to be able-bodied. But I still feel like I don't have the freedom and opportunities I should have. I feel a sense of being anchored down. However, I am doing well all things considered.
