I’m in a rural area and the event was horrible. Your a honest guy keeps it up

I liked when Hoopa was in elite raids, the first time, because it allowed me to get a better IV one. I was hoping mythicals would keep appearing but after multiple rounds of hoopa we got Regieleki and regidrago. Those were dex entry pokemon. Mega Rayquaza makes sense as an elite raid day because its like the strongest pokemon available. It makes sense to have to put in more effort in coordinating and organizing to then get 2 or 3 shots at it. Its the best of the best. The 2 new Regi's, nah, that should have been normal 5* raids. Elite raids should be rare, and only for the best of the best. We had 2 in one park, and the 4 people we had didn't take it down. Finally another 2 accounts showed up and we did get both taken down and the mega energy was worth the effort. I appreciate that this isn't just another video though about how we only want to be able to remote raid. That's not what Niantic is about so we aren't going to get that no matter how much internet whining goes down.

Less raids mean more people are likely to converge on a single gym

Recently went to the mega raqueza raid in my medium sized city and there were around 150 people walking around playing kids families all that it was a pretty cool vibe. I wish they would make remote raid passes cheaper though that being said AND also continue doing these hard to attent raids on occasion. SHould be 95% easy to attend and remote raid 5% like last weekend

Best event I has a great time at my local park 5 raids spawned at 12pm. 500 people+ showed up from surrounding communities. My campfire group nearly doubled that day

Maybe I’ll get a rayquaza next yr 😢 us rural players are struggling

The MOST stressful day of pokemon I've ever had. Trying to get enough ppl at the same place at the same time. Ours are spred out far apart. Can only get 3 per hr.
