The internet is full of wedding planning advice and not all of it is good! Couples are given advice from all directions which can quickly become confusing, overwhelming and just way over the top.
As always I am here to keep wedding planning in the UK simple. Give you the easiest methods to plan and ensure you have fun throughout!
So here is my round up on the worst advice I have seen or heard over my years in the industry and some helpful tips to help you make the right decisions for you and avoid additional stress when wedding planning!

Do you have any good idea how I can make memories with my mum on my wedding day she has stage 4 cancer need some good ideas to make it more special please help 🙏🏼❤️

So sorry to hear that, and I am sure its a really difficult time for you all. I am planning on doing a whole video on this to offer help. I would say the most important things to do are don't over pack the day, leave space for the memories and consider how your mum will feel on the day too. A great photographer to capture the day goes without saying (and make sure you research what photos you would like to have). I would recommend a videographer too. Make sure the day is well spaced out so you have time together and you don't feel like you are just rushing around all day. Think of how she will feel too, is she going to be able to be there all day or would it be better to change the timeline around and do all the important parts (this could be the ceremony, speeches and first dance for example) early on. If she is tired then she won't feel like she is missing out if she needs to leave. Thinking about a rest space too if this is possible at your venue would be a nice touch as well but I know isn't always possible. Hope that helps and I will add more details in a video xx

So thankful I found you on Tik Tok, getting married in 2023, will definitely join your club nearer the time. Your videos are so helpful. Wonder if you can help me please, I had already chosen my maid of honour and my 2 bridesmaids and bought them presents to unwrap which are engraved with will you be my...bridesmaid/maid of honour. One of the bridesmaids got engaged before me and has now asked me to be their maid of honour along with my other bridesmaid. What do I do? I personally feel I should keep them as bridesmaids and keep the person I had planned for the maid of honour, but now I feel I am in a difficult situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ♥️

Thank you so much for this lovely comment! It can be so difficult when this happens, and rightly so you feel a little awkward! It happens more than you might think. Good friends will always understand. Maybe have a chat with her in private rather than her finding out in front of everyone. It might be that she's totally fine with it, understands or didn't even expect it anyway. So have a chat before it starts to stress you out too much. Hope this helps xx

I think assigned tables might be a cultural issue. Where I'm from you don't tell grown adults where to sit at any party, not even at a wedding. It's plain rude.

All cultures are different - with the UK weddings I do its very normal (and much less stressful for guests too!) to have assigned seating. But you have to work with what is best for your culture
