Merry Christmas everyone! Today Im here with cmole showing you a project we have been working on for a few weeks. Ive done a terrible job of filming the progress so this video is breaking down the bike before the teardown, what we have done to it, and future plans for the build. @Rippin In The Mitten MX yes I've been telling him that would be a game changer for this bike. The current carb is super jank and I can't find a rebuild kit for it. Does yours have the mikuni tmx36? The 95 and your bike is very similar but your top end is different. I believe the bottom end is very similar. Not sure on the frame and suspension tho

@@AUSTIN_457 frame etc looks the same. Interesting enough tho mine is supposed to have a tmx36 according to the book but when I measured mine it appears to be a 38mm mikuni but I could never really identify the exact model but definitely looks different also.. still idk bike barely has bottom end imo an really have to keep it revved out.. I would love to try a 36mm and a 38mm keihin on there tho to see the difference. I've heard stank dog talk about it an according to him 36mm gives alot better bottom an mid range to the bike who nos tho

@Rippin In The Mitten MX yeah I believe the 36 will give it more bottom and mid but a 38 will give it more top and over rev. Either way I think they would be good alternatives. The krihin pwk airstrikers are good for setting your jetting and not having to tinker around with it

I have a yz125 and it won’t start on its own anymore. It ran great until one day it cut off and wouldn’t kick start anymore. I put a new top end in a everything thinking it was low on compression but still nothing. I’m stumped. I went through everything and I don’t see anything out of the ordinary. Any recommendations? It seems to have weak spark I could be wrong.

Funny enough we are having issues with this 125 not starting as well. The top end has compression and its getting fuel so we suspect an issue with electrical. We haven't diagnosed the electrical system tho but we plan to and we might make a video on doing it!

Just done a top end on mine thinking of doing a full resto just going to be expensive here in Australia minimum 8 thousand

@@AUSTIN_457 oh definitely man anything newer then 08 4g plus any cr 2 stroke minimum 6g to 7 crazy covid prices I got the yz in like 06 from the junkyard for 700

I believe he got them off eBay. They are GPI radiators. I'll see if I can find a link for you
