I was just telling a friend, that when you're watching The X-Files, it's as if you're falling in love. You get excited with anticipation for the next scene or the next episode; the next hand hold, or hair touch. I'd not heard it described this way before and hearing it coming from Frank Spotnitz makes me feel a little better about my obsession with these characters - that the feelings are mutual.

What impresses the most much about gillian anderson is how radically diffrent is she from the character that she plays. When you've seen an actor playing a character for years, and then you see that actor in an interview, usually you can't help it but to think of the character.. but Gillian anderson just ISN'T Scully... There's no way that you see Scully on her: She changes her expression, her look. That would makes her an incredible actress...

I just love how CC says "I'm done now" and smiles at the end. The playfulness between them is really sweet.

I love what Spotnitz said here. Even as a very dedicated viewer you fall in love with the characters and happen to think of them like real people. Having created them must make them feel incredibly proud - like parents.

Aww it's obvious that Gillian adores Chris, he stood up for her from the beginning, since the casting itself (FOX didn't want Gillian as Scully but Chris insisted over 'n over again till he convinced 'em), then when she got pregnant at the middle of season 1 FOX decided to replaced her but Chris fought for her, and even David threatened to quit if they did it. Chris is Piper's (Gillian's daughter) godfather, Chris named one of the episodes after her, etc. Many years later that affection lingers!

I could relate to Frank Spotnitz about "Milagro" being the writers favorite episode, he explained it so well. I was a fanfiction writer back then and that episode touched me like no other... Practically EVERY fan was a little obsessed over Scully at that time and seeing that guy Padgett SO fascinated with her for so many years, fantasizing with her, like all fanfiction writers... needless to say, it's one of my favorite episodes. And I agree with 99% of the comments here, Gillian is adorable!

I think Gillian loves to be goofy and finding things to laugh about after always acting so serious and dramatic as Scully, Stella Gibson and Blanche DuBois. One can almost forget the girl is much funnier in real life. Milagro is a pretty good episode, but as usual, fairly dramatic for Scully.

I love her. Shes so adorable in this! Its funy when Chris says people think its one of the best episodes and shes mouthing,no it wasnt. And he said Sean said that it was. Then she said ''really?did he tell you that personally?'' That was funny.
