I could not find a decent video of the opening credits/sequence on youtube so here it is! This is the opening credits from season 3 "Never Again". I am making no money off of this and it is copyrighted by Fox and Ten Thirteen...

@@santanusk2853 its a great show. I’m not sure how it would hold up today, but some episodes you would enjoy. Some examples are ‘Ice’ , ‘Killswitch’ , and ‘Home’ 🙂

Fox owned the 90s with The X files, Married with Children, In Living Color, Martin, Living Single, New York Undercover, Classic Simpsons, Roc, Cops, King of The Hill etc. Never did they ever match or surpass that era.

@@jygb7092 Yep. NBC had Seinfeld, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Law and Order, Mad About You, Wings, Homicide Life On The Street, Frasier, Friends, ER, Will and Grace etc. 1990s was great for NBC and so was the 2000s.

There is a funny story on how the iconic theme came about. The computer, synthizer keyboard may a odd noise by mistake. The composer heard the intro & built the series theme around it.

*The truth is still out there* I remember watching this show on channel 5 with my parents until 2002. My most vivid memory was watching the episode 'Squeeze' and I was terrified by the fact that the episode's antagonist (Eugene Victor Tooms) could get through the smallest of spaces with ease.

I watched the series with my parents when I was around 7 years old. Tooms never scared me much, but another episode did, and that episode was "Space". I know that it is regarded as one of the least favored episodes, but the face of the spectral entity left me afraid to look at the ceiling when lying in bed attempting to fall asleep for years. Despite that, I was instantly hooked on this series and still regard it as one of the best shows ever created.

@@thelonious2213 I actually liked that episode too, mainly due to how fanboyish Mulder gets. But I do remember dreaming about that face for several years. The sfx makes it so creepy. Never undstood why people disliked it. "Shadows" also scared the life out of me because of the poltergeist. Its a tragic but particularly brutal episode.

Ah yes, the intro that traumatized the hell out of me as a child. I remember being in the living room playing with my toys while my sister was watching the TV. As soon as this intro came on and I saw the UFO I was immediately terrified. I would literally have nightmare all the time of being outside my house with a UFO above me and this song playing 😅 now I freakn’ love this show haha

Just hearing this theme when I was a kid scared the crap out of me. I raced to change the channel as soon as it came up. But hearing it now, I guess it no longer has that effect on me. Probably because I'm more of a skeptic and the song has been parodied so much.

The late 90's was peak era for spooky stuff on terrestrial broadcast airwaves. X-Files was on television. Art Bell was on the radio. Nowadays you'd have to search online to find spooky content this good.

Don't know why the man pointing the UFO it's so creepy. Still gives me the chills. Perhaps being presented as still pictures feels like photos of an actual sighting. Or the unnatural color of the ship highlights the idea that's not from here. Amazing clip.

The best theme song ever. I don’t know what it was about this theme that amazed me when I was little. I loved it back then and still love it as an adult. This theme song will always remind me of my grandpa because one, he was interested in UFOs and stuff like that. The second reason why this will remind me of him is because whenever I heard this theme song I would look at the tv, look at him as he would whistle along with the tune then I would look back at the tv. I had to have been either 3 or 4 years old back then. I’ll never forget those memories. RIP Pappy. I miss you.

Аж мурашки по коже от мелодии. Помню еще мелким садился в 10 вечера или 11 уже точно не помню и смотрел. Страшно было пипец, постоянно ныкался за диван и иногда выглядывал. Но продолжал смотреть. А еше эта заставка уже заставляла меня бояться)) То время было особенным, потому что в то время еще были рядом особенные люди которых сейчас уже нет, от этого грустно.

Ghosts and aliens were such a big thing in the 80s and 90s, and then the internet came and ruined all the mystique because nobody could reproduce anything interesting in HD quality. Thus all the ghosts and aliens disappeared overnight.
