Depends on what you mean by early 2000s... because we still are in it? If you are referring to 2000s to 2010 then... People didnt talk like this... ppl usd 2 tk lk this!! U knw? This was because most phones(excluding blackberrys and such) used numpads exclusively which meant typing was a bit more challenging and slower to do. Also, touch phones didn't become a trend till late into the 2000 going into 2010s. Even then, people still carried their old ways of typing stuff before it eventually faded. Also, sending pictures over the phone was a big deal back then. Most people had unlimited texts and calls, but had to deal with charges for any pictures included. Its painful to think we use to spend around 10 to 20p for a 240p cat pic. Point is, we didn't throw around reaction images very often. Instead, we had ASCII emotes. They looked like :^) rather than 😊 . Which brings me to the last thing... we didnt have small images as emotes..
@angelwings19795 ай бұрын
You're absolutely right about most of it. One little caveat, in the early 2000s most people didn't have unlimited phone and texting. I can remember so many times of having to wait until 9pm for calls to be free. Not only were you charged for every text you sent or received but every call you made or got. Having calls be free after 9 was a huge deal.
