You're all wrong, the election that elected Washington happened in stages between December, 1788 and January 1789. He was inaugurated in April of 1789.

@@MHurtado09you’re correct, he was inaugurated in April 30th of 1789 and was elected in December of 1788, he got the majority of the vote and got elected officially in April 30th, 1789.
