I personally am proud to be African, I applaud "The annoying village boy" he is doing a tremendous job which our tourist industry has failed, our politics has failed but looking at what Wademaya archived in the short space of time he has been doing this, it's great. As Africans we have to appreciate Wademaya and the work he is doing. My the sprit of Ubuntu continue to guide you. UBUNTU...

Africa’s cultural heritage has failed them. Tribalism has separated Africans from his neighbor and made them turn on each other. Africans are either unaware or in denial about their role in slavery and holding themselves back. While Europeans were building industries, using the human labor sold to them by Africans, Africans were fighting themselves. And they’re still behind. You need velocity powered by capital to compete in today’s world.

I live in Central California in three digit scorching heat. In the early nineties I tried my hands in a vegetable garden growing zucchini, strawberries, tomatotoes and hot peppers. My family did not show any interest to help and gave me no reason to continue. After a decade or so, the garden in now fallow and dry. I grew up in Ethiopia in temperate climate wishing some day to start my hand in mechanized farm in my father's farm . It wasn't to be in my future. When I see these young African farmers, I see my long lost soul. More power to them.

With all the struggles Zim has undergone, it’s amazing how the people have not cannibalised themselves to the point of no recognition. In fact I think their “struggles” have insulted them from the negative foreign influence. This has allowed brilliant individuals to arise from almost nothing… 🤯👏🏿👏🏿 Imagine if only half of the major stumbling blocks are removed?

“The new war is the war with ourselves, how do we get out of poverty … how do get better technology, greener technology…we cannot be fighting colonial wars in 2022.” THIS. RIGHT. HERE. My brother you hit the nail on the head. This is true in the Caribbean as well. Nepotism, tribalism and patronage (people and their heirs still claiming rewards for their role in the struggle for independence) are killing us too!! Total shame.

I like the truth she’s dropping without holding back. Farming is hard ! Farming is deep! Tech entrepreneur … interesting. Farming is made glamorous online indeed. She knows her stuff and I like that her challenge is different from what most people would say. She didn’t mention finance first. Indeed if capital is made the biggest challenge then one will do nothing. Loophole finding is an African thing. Sadly we have to deal with people like this. Gaps between the Have and Have NOT. Hahahah the use of English 👍🏽

“Food is political” This statement is so true! I pray every African would look deeply into the current state of the United States. Food is being destroyed and burned to control the people. Growing your own food is so powerful! How blessed Africa is to be able to grow on such fertile land. Say no to GMO seeds. Never stop growing your own food! Africa is so blessed beyond measure and many don’t realize it!
