I am here binge watching adoption videos and crying my eyes out. Not even looking to adopt kids so not sure why I am doing this to myself

Paige is a friend of mine and I had no idea that this video existed. Her video of Ivey opening her birthday present (that went viral) made me cry then and made me cry again, watching it right now. This was a beautiful story, and Ivey sure knows how to bring a story. She is funny and smart. And it is wonderful to see how loved these three children are not only by their parents but also by their larger family. It is great that the previous foster parents are still part of Ivey’s life and that families are so willing to help and support you when you are dealing with health issues. I am so glad for all involved that it worked out so well, and you really deserve all good things that come to you.

Wow, God is so great, what a beautiful family. The girl to say "when I was with my birth mom I didn't know Jesus" But with my adopted family now I have Jesus. This is awesome, and to you mom and dad, you have found your purpose so congratulations. Also for your girl to say God knew about your inability to conceive but left it that way so you could be her ( their ) mom and dad, it sounds to me like "out of the mouth of babies the Lord ordain praise". You are a beautiful family. God knew he could trust you with the situation, and your entire story demonstrates the sovereignty of God. Remain blessed.

This is absolutely ridiculous! I must've watched that part when Ivey realized she was being adopted 15 - 20 times now. Absolutely every single time, my nose flares and tears well up in my eyes. I watched it 3 times today for goodness sakes, and it happened each time!!

God bless you. I have had Crohn’s my entire adult life. God blessed me with 3 boys while suffering with Crohn’s but I was not diagnosed for 15 years later. This was many years ago. I am 60 now. I know how hard it is to have Crohn’s and raise children. You are truly blessed and I pray that through your many journeys you will have God’s mercy. You are a beautiful, loving family.
