to be fair, zimmad engineers are on that og kush, they be smoking the most unique pack there is, Im sure at some point they thought about putting their amphibious MS to space use, I mean originally the bigro Mip made was for space but Zimmad also converted it for underwater use, who knows maybe some amphibious MS are also space worthy.

I remember seeing some cool fanart somewhere where the Infinite Justice' arms and shoulders are tucked in inside the Z'Gok's torso. So the arms are actually the Z'Gok's own arm units. Of course it's just fanart but it seems plausible enough.

The only started doing that in Seed Destiny. Seed only show original mobile suits it's when Seed Destiny was made they started introducing rework version of UC MS. It started with the Zaku Warrior where it's just a upgrade Zaku II with the shield and spike mirror plus beam weapons along with it own weapon pack. Then they introduce the Gouf Ignited which is just and upgrade Gouf with a flight pack plus beam weapons. In Seed Freedom they introduce Gelgoog Menace, Gyan Storm, and the Z'Gok shown in the video here. Gelgoog Menace is just an upgrade Gelgoog that has a beam shield and it's own flight packs. The Gyan Storm is just an upgrade Gyan that can use beam weapons and the shield being rework so it's now a glorify Beam Frisbee also it has the Gouf's Heat Rod whip.
