for a movie called "The Zone Of Interest", i still decided wether or not i am interested to check this movie once it out. i'll probably ask a friend to watch it with me. can't wait for your review of "Anatomy Of A Fall". it's probably the one that i was excited the most out of the lineups (says someone who doesn't really knows the lineups lol). have fun at TIFF!!.

Watched this at TIFF as well, and it was almost surreal...I couldn't believe the ease of which they lived their lives with the horror going on the background. I love long shots, I love silence, I love subtlety, I love experimental film...I loved this movie. It also has stayed with me since watching it. But...I don't see myself rewatching it anytime soon.

I thought it was a good watch and a hard listen,it stays with you . But it also could of been a short movie too , i think a 40min short movie would of had as much affect, but overall its a very good movie

10/10.....Saw this last night. Great Film, my favorite of '23 but especially with everything going on with Israel/Palestine, I just couldn't help but think how ironic it is that Israel are currently acting like the Nazi's towards the people of Gaza. I think this is his best film and I couldn't disagree more about this being like a Hanke film.

You may not be aware that many Israelites do not support their government (and many Jews in the world do not agree with the violence in Gaza, and want another solution). You also probably do not know that many Arabs are Israeli citizens, which would rule out the strict idea of "genocide', which refers to the destruction of a race (like the Nazis tried to do with the Jews). I am totally against war and violence of any kind.

Absolutely. It's so hard not to think about The Zone of Interest when thinking about the conflict in Israel/Palestine.
