Dom repeterade i tre veckor (!) så att framträdandet skulle bli helt perfekt. Varje ton, varje gest. Johnny Halliday har sagt att Lara Fabian är hans kvinnliga motsvarighet, och att han valde att hålla igen på sina röstresurser för att hon skulle kunna glänsa lite mera. En sann gentleman!

Hello, Epic reaction! This song was originally a Johnny Hallyday solo. A few adjustments in the lyrics have been made here and there to help create this mind-blowing duo on stage at the Stade de France. For the record, this song is inspired by a 1939 French film directed by Marcel Carné "Le jour se lève" (This film was the subject of an American remake under the title "The Long Night" of Anatole Litvak, released in 1947, with Henry Fonda reprising the role initially held by the French actor Jean Gabin). The synopsis: "François has just murdered Valentin. In the height of despair, he barricaded himself in his apartment. While the police besiege him, he revisits in thought (flashback) the events that led him to crime ". It was also inspired, but to a lesser extent, by the final scene of 1932 film "Scarface" of Howard Hawk (not the Brian de Palma's movie with Al Pacino released in 1983). @@justinj.lalonde6778 C'est quelque chose qui m'amuse à chaque fois ce besoin de préciser. Mais si vous étudiez l'Histoire de France et celle de la Belgique, vous comprendrez peut-être qu'il ne s'agit en fait que d'un seul et même pays qui partage la même culture quasiment depuis deux millénaires déjà. La Belgique est ni plus ni moins une création de l'Angleterre pour protéger ses frontières contre la France. Si la France et la Belgique (de l'époque puisque la Belgique occupait aussi une grande partie de la Hollande actuelle) n'avait fait qu'un seul et même pays, alors la "Franc-Belgie" (j'invente un mot pour le besoin de l'explication) devenait le pays le plus puissant d'Europe loin devant l'Allemagne et l'Angleterre. Il ne faut jamais oublier que le royaume de France démarre avec l'invasion Belge (les Francs donc) et que ce n'est qu'après la mort de Charlemagne que l'empire va se fragmenter en trois morceaux. Mais Belges et Français partagent le même sang. N'en déplaise aux Belges ou aux Français. Moi, je trouve que l'on devrait plutôt en être fier. Surtout que c'est à leur tour des Français qui ont instauré la monarchie telle qu'elle a perduré en Angleterre. Français et Belges ont eu une énorme influence sur le développement de l'Europe. La plupart des artistes Belges ou Canadiens francophones sont venus faire carrière en France, car c'était la rampe de lancement assurée pour faire ensuite une carrière internationale. C'est dommage de le renier ensuite ou de le minimiser comme si c'était une honte et qu'il fallait cacher ça sous le tapis. ;)

@@LeFeroceLapin Le mieux à se sujet est de laisser la parole aux belges eux-mêmes au lieu d'en parler à leur place. On ne peut pas pas expliquer une identité uniquement à travers la langue ou même l'histoire (qui peut être interprétée selon les besoins ou fantasmes de chacun).

Johnny a eu l'intelligence de ne pas forcer. Il avait beaucoup de respect pour ses invités. Il s'est effacé pour elle. Regardez la même chanson interprèté par Johnny uniquement et vous comprendrez. Lara Fabian est une grande chanteuse. Elle a été à la hauteur. C'est indéniable.

Dear friends , as you can see it on Wikipedia , "Requiem pour un Fou ", is a dramatic song. The guy has killed his wife ( or girlfriend ). « Je l'ai tuée ». He is in the crime house ! Outside , the police is there , with guns and lights. The night will be bloody again ! No doubt ! He was madly in love with her. But , the woman wanted to leave him. The guy was mad. « Je n'étais qu'un fou » « Un fou d'Amour». You are on the good road , with Johnny Hallyday. Numerous hits are available , on KZfaq. Michel Sardou could be a good choice too. Johnny Hallyday: Belgian who came to France for the sake of his music career. Went to live in America as well, where he even died. Lara Fabian: born in Belgium. Father was Flemish, mother was Sicilian. Went to France for the sake of her music career.

Johnny Hallyday was french. He asked for the belgian nationality probably to not pay the french taxes ^^ if my memory is good, his excuse was that he had family in belgium. But he wasn't belgian ^^
