Honestly i love Prodigal Return for GM's with envious, disruption break and blinding. Paired with wishender i can pretty much always have 3 in the mag and its great for shields paired with the stopping power of wishender, used it in last week's gm and disruption break helped a lot with tanky knights and wizards

I tend to disagree about Chill Clip's utility on GLs against Overloads specifically. I tried using it in GMs, and trying to direct-impact a constantly teleporting enemy with a GL was... not a fun experience. Admittedly the Lingering Dread I used didn't have disorienting grenades, so that might have affected my view on it. It's still very strong against other ads, too, so I think it still deserves its spot. Nice video!

I did want to mention that lightweights do have one small advantage over waveframes and doublehitters: They are lightweight, so you can move faster and have +20 mobility with one readied. I realize it ain't a game changing difference, especially in the long run of things, but it does make them somewhat preferrable when deciding on a special GL to use. Being more mobile is always a good thing imo

Really good use for Harsh Language is essentially invis on demand with Stylish Executioner, if you ever find yourself in a situation where you need invis for your Gyrfalcon combo chain or to get to safety but you have no smokes or dodges, you can fire out a wave into a group of adds with Destabalizing Rounds and majority of the time u will get free invis

Honestly I enjoyed using Militias birthright over ignition code solely because of my experience in the first few weeks solo nez. Slideways is worse than slideshot but ALSO having autoloading was game changing for me

In my opinion when talking about explosive personality you have to highly consider it's origin trait, which gives you a max of 30 resilience stats for just killing stuff with a breech GL its kinda nice

Explosive personalty and forbearance have amazing origin traits

One of my most-used weapons from Lightfall is a Lead from Gold / Voltshot Prodigal Return; it’s interesting hearing you spurn both those perks as for me it’s the perfect combination: I never, EVER worry about ammo and Voltshot is constantly activating due to the regular reloads. Plus it’s doing higher damage than a primary due to Voltshot’s special multiplier. You should give it a try!

One note on the Salvager's Salvo vs. Deafening Whisper back in the day... Back then, Wave Frames were new. I'm pretty sure Deafening was the first one, and so not a lot of people really knew what they were capable of, and on top of that, there was some issue with the wave pathing where it couldn't go up some types of steps. Most people I knew that were using GLs in Nightfalls, like myself, were using Disorienting (then Blinding) GLs. This combined with the fact that Master Vault of Glass was the new "high end" of PVE, and Vex floor textures were exceptionally harsh for Deafening Whisper (at least for me). But more importantly, Master Vault has add spawn patterns that are very easy to abuse with a Breach Loader, plus Confluxes and Atheon both have a shit-ton of Arc Shielded Harpies that come out in clusters, which made them extremely easy and obvious targets for Salvo. I still use Salvo sometimes instead of Forbearance because there are some types of spawns that are easier to ambush with a well timed Salvo than with a wave frame. Not many, but some. Also Salvo gets a bonus in my book over Forberance in certain situations where it can also do impact damage that Forberance can't do. Edit: While I agree about Wilderflight being better for DPS rotations, I do think that Salvagers is a better overall GL because it is better at add clear than Wilderflight, while also doubling as a decent DPS option with zero effort involved. Whereas Wilderflight doubles as DPS and Utility, but would require you to expend the slight effort to swap those as needed.

multi-perks are worth considering, being able to swap mid-encounter: like militia between slide and lead-from-gold, forbearance from ambitious to genesis (and saves vault space)

With how good Envious Assassin is now, I would give them more points for having it, not for sustained dps but for burst damage and emergency uses. Whipping out a blinding launcher with 3 in the mag or putting down 3 lines of fire can't be overlooked when it comes to deleting beefy enemies.

Disruption break is pretty slept on with disorienting GLs for GMs imo. It's not game changing, but it's very handy.

New Pacific needs to be in b because it's kinetic. It does not do the same amount of damage that you think it would even with the perk pool. Only looks good on paper

Harsh Language with envious assassin is insanely good

I agree with this but I feel as if danger zone could be worth 0.5 points. The main issue with it is that on the two gls it could be good (ignition code and the stasis one) you’d rather have chill clip and slideshot sorta lets you burst blind anyways

Pardon has changed my end game alot, kinetic auto blinder keeps the energy open for more subclass synergy with hits, kills, precision and better use of surges. Waves seem a waste of synergy options to me.

Lingering dread was S before chill nerf, because it only took 2 hits to freeze and ambitious would give 2 so you could just loop it, now it’s 3 it’s definitely B tier

Im kinda suprosed you didnt really talk about dusruption break at all on any of the GLs that had it, i feel like theres several times the perk could be very useful (like in GOS speedruns or barrier champs with radiant/destabling rounds) but i honestly dont remember how much it increases kinetic damage by because ive onky really heard it talked about in pvp in the last couple years

I’ve always wondered, why aren’t non wave frame GLs used more often for non blinding stuff? Isn’t it pretty hard hitting if you go spike and like auto loading and whatever damage perk. Hit a big guy with a GL swap to something else for a few shots swap back for quick burst damage or using it and reloading it like a wave frame just for less ad cleary moments on a less but beefier targets. So why wouldn’t you want to do that? And doesn’t blinding grenades the perk super hard hit the damage/blast radius of them too?

Are there any good rotations with a kenetic GL? I was trying to think of a good use for Pardon our Dust as I feel like its maybe a bit better than its ranking, but honestly any swap I can think of would be better with an energy GL.
