I've had a bad week on the rescue front... sometimes I feel like giving up. It's always the people who make things hard, not the dogs. Can't explain how much it means to open my phone and see this video. Matilda is my heart and soul, she looks SO GOOD. Princess? What a precious little angel, she must be new. I love the Asher House for so many reasons. Please keep reminding us what people who really love animals look like. It's my lifeline.

Thank you Lee, for the posting today. I was having a bit of anxiety. I calmed down some, got hot tea- and there was your post. Seeing the doggos 🐶 so chillaxed was a reminder to me about how dogs live in the moment. And sun. And fog. And damp grass. Lol. And Matilda. Whom I call "Stumbalina" never lets her neurological challenge get her down or stop her. Even trying to climb up to you she lost balance and flopped back. But it didn't stop her. Water off a duck's back. I laughed at how cute she was doing so. I know 2023 was so hard for you Lee. 💔 A number of losses and 10/7 among other things. But you made it to 2024. You have done such amazing work at the Sanctuary. Along with the crew/support (at Sanctuary) and the wonderful volunteers at the shelters and rescues that call you for help. I just want to say: Thank You for bringing a candle into a dark 🌎. May it always shine!❤

I love seeing them so happy. I'm facing having my dog put to sleep because of terminal bladder cancer. He was my husband's dog that passed from cancer 4yrs ago at the age of 55.

Glad to see this update but I could watch an hour of just the dog's affection with Lee - an instant warmth to the heart. But knowing those sloppy kisses are from a grateful second-chance pack, that says it all.
