Kinda reminds me of the girl I met in College who was from Russia. I was studying Homeland Security and Emergency services and we decided to study together a little bit. Things went pretty well for about a year or so, then I was being questioned and harassed about who she was and I didn't tell them a damn thing. Later found out she worked for the SVR and felt very betrayed and used. I'm now using my time to discover answers of my own.

The punishment for treason is death. This has always been the punishment. By getting 15 years he is getting a great deal. He let down his nation and people. For that there are no excuses. He should be lucky he gets basic human treatment. Treason is not a acceptable crime.

This is what happens where you grow up in russian influence zone. I have nothing against russian-speakers here in Lithuania but I have to say that they are people with different views. The vast majority of those glorifies the Russian invasive regime and stuff and are against the NATO and all Western society simultaneously. I don’t believe him. He said the police said they believed him and didn’t have proof, and then he contradicted himself and said they said they’d use their proof against him. He could have gone to the Estonian authorities and they would have believed him over Russia. Not to mention getting his Dad involved... letting him get a piece of the action speaks volumes about the history of resentment of Estonia in that family. Fascinating doc!
