Starting off our day with sweet kisses for little Wolf from his big sister Tilly the Red Cattle Dog. Never met a dog that loved kids more, well apart from YoYo. Our girl Tilly just loves on our kids all day long, she loves the kids more than grown ups and frisbees. It’s a lovely trait of hers.
Mondays pack fly across the paddock. They’re so quick and and run in unison, they look like a flock of birds soaring through the grass.
Today was YoYo’s first full farm day. He has about 10 more to go before he graduates officially to day care farm dog. He’s gone from training student, to on lead introductions in the calm afternoons, to free range in the calm afternoons, to Swiss ball only … to now first full day. He is currently passed out at my feet with a great big smile on his face.
In the bush, the hunt for uncle Luke continued. Week 1 was up a tree, week 2 was camouflage, week 3 is distance. So today Uncle Luke hid about 500 metres from the start point. We thought it might take a while to find him this time. And whilst it did for most of the pack, there was one dog that made a direct beeline straight along Lukes path to find him. Can you guess who it might be?
Today we celebrated sisters Cutie Pie and Meeko’s very 1st birthday. Elle has been counting down the sleeps for this party. She planned the decorations and the theme. Cutie Pie’s favourite colour ‘pink’!
They both ate yummy love heart chicken cakes with pink mashed potato for icing. Even the tractor had to be painted pink! Thank you Adam 💗 The two sisters had a great time celebrating together. Happy special 1st birthday Meeko and Cutie Pie 💕
Luke jumped on the SUP in the dam which all the dogs love to swim after and chase along the shorelines. Then off to the pool, where we brought out a box of squeaky toys, donated by our followers, for the pack. It’s was utter fun and mayhem!
