I live in the bush and at 56 I still never tire of seeing Kangaroos bounding across the landscape, it’s something that makes me feel so intrinsically at home, and feeling that childlike awe at how effortlessly they move.

@@crvr27 I’m from the city but it was a quiet little beach/port suburb of Melbourne it was always like a little country town on a little peninsula 3 sides water on 2 bay’s so was mostly working class and then it was discovered by everyone else that didn’t realise it was only 20 minutes from Melbourne CBD, I was born there, only moved to the bush 4 years ago I love the quiet and the wildlife and my Dog companion of course. I do miss the beach and the smell of salt in the air, but I also love the smell of Eucalyptus especially after it rains, now that lockdown has finished finally I am going down tomorrow I will take my dog to the dog beach as he has always been a country dog as when I took him to the city for the first time at 10yrs old got him at 9.5yrs old he is 11 now, anyway his eyes got so big and he didn’t blink for the 30 minutes from the hey to my friend’s place 😂, so I am pretty sure he hasn’t ever been to a beach before, then to see my Niece’s and their kid’s haven’t seen them since March, so I need to play being their Great Uncle and be silly and get climbed all over, I can’t wait.

I get excited every time I see the kangaroos. How wonderful it would be to see them out in the wild.

Seeing Cutie Pie and Elle together today made me think that there is a lot of Elle in Cutie Pie (care for other animals) and that is why CP is so comforting for the pups, plus she's warm and cuddly for the tiny little pups. So adorable.

Thank you Darcy, that really helps to understand why he is interested in 'smelling' them but not overly excited to see the puppies. Conrad definitely recognised something about them but seemed to be mystified at the same time.

Do you think as this is probably not his first litter with Lucy that he realizes there's a connection? Nice thought anyway.

@@patsywhitehead472 I'm not sure if Conrad's history with Lucy is very clear. I think the only known (known to us out here that is) connection he has with Lucy may be based on the amount of time they've been together, they were surrendered as a "bonded pair" but it was quickly evident that they weren't truly and properly bonded.

I thought the same thing...eating with the cone makes her look like a Hoover. I'm glad she got to have it off for the paddock run, or the wind resistance would have turned her head around!😄

I laughed when my local vet had on his sign: "It's all fun and games until someone winds up in a cone". Every pet owner knows that scenario too well.

@@lorelleblackwell8556 My place is so small that when my poor Mysti had to wear one, she couldn't turn around without bumping into something...it was pitiful. Then my vet suggested putting her in a t-shirt to cover her stitches instead, and that worked much better....no more crashing into things! (She's not a big chewer, so that helped too.)
