After two months at the farm, of the 7 shelter dogs (plus 3 little puppies) that came to live and train here until they were adopted, there is just Bobby the Staffy X and Freddo the Rottweiler left. Oh and I think Luke may have let slip some news in this video that tells us we’ll be just down to one.
SO … it seemed fitting that Luke and Jason wanted to take these two special boys out for an extra special day together with all the attention showered just upon them today.
We all know how much they deserve it.
Luke and Jason wanted it to be something just for them and get them out on a road trip to the beach … with a stop at the drive thru for whatever they wanted.
We feed a healthy diet of raw here at the farm, but every dog deserves a special treat one day in their life, ESPECIALLY Freddo and Bobby. Our old boys Wallace and Charlie used to love a cheeky chicken nugget and soft serve ice cream every now and then. So go ahead and tell us how unhealthy it is, but you know what? We don’t care, because Freddo and Bobby, well most especially Freddo, LOVED IT!! And that’s all that matters today.
Personally, watching this video back now gets me a bit teary. Lots of reasons. The journey. The bond we’ve developed. The joy in their faces. The list of reasons why is long.
These boys are truly special.
