Torque is great but man once you try a big turbine big ar ohhh theres nothing like it. The Cummins just feels so at home at 4500 and sounds so so good.

Was driving from Sacramento to San Diego & we left Sac at about 3:30 a.m. to avoid LA traffic (only way to do that leg) but I only had about 3 hours of sleep...so little before we got to the Grapevine I had a 5 hour energy drink...15 minutes later I had my 20 year son drive, 15 minutes after that, I was asleep.

By the way Tim I really appreciate the help you gave me on the phone about the issue I was having with my new mm3 and getting it emailed to u. Guys I've spent a lot of money on parts from you all but it was worth it. I'm a heavy tow guy so all the air I can shove in equates clean as well as cool what's the best turbo for cool egts and towing torque and horsepower compound s or big turbo. When should I replace injectors. What mileage. Approx.

How many miles is wore in sufficient to power up? The 91.5 fell off a jack at 500k mi landing on #1 rod, making the pan wholier than thou. Mesured the oil clearances with plasti-gage at 3.5 on 4-7 3-1 tapered out to 4.5. I am assuming the crank bent when the KDP went through the gear set at 150k mi. Wound up doing a 20 over build w/a 188 Hamilton cam industrial fire ringed head. 5 and 6 were 2x spec out of round. Could of just slaped it back together but the mind wanders to much for my comfort shop polished and straightened the crankshaft as well.

Is EFI Live the best tuning for a 2006 common rail with a g56? What do you think of the Stealth 64 for towing, and leaving the compound option open

Yes efi is the best tuning available. The stealth id a great turbo and would work great with compounds.

Wish I would've submitted a question, im not entirely sure if im going to melt my S364 with the 68mm wheel when I spray the truck, been looking at going to a S400. Truck is a 1999 with an aggressively ported head, blueprinted motor, 188/220 cam, two stages of N2O, trying to get 800 wheel on the gas

Do it!! Do it!! Just make sure you get it on video 😂. No really don't it's a terrible idea 😂. You either need a big turbine ar or big gates. S400 ftw! Some prefer the 87 turbine in a .90 housing but I like the 83 in a 1.10. They both move about the same exhaust volume. The 83 is just more responsive under 2k imo but I'm also common rail. Never had a 24v. You can't spin very high so turbine is very important.

A little off sunbject guys but i have a freinnd who swears by putting 2 cycle oil in his fuel to add lubricity to prot😢ect his fuel system foes this help.

Those numbers are insane. I can't imagine my truck with 2000 lb-ft of torque. It would be fun on the street however if I have one bitch about the Dodge trucks it's their 2wds are horrible off road. I'm not talking a foot of mud or climbing a 30% grade either I'm talking my yard with it's maybe 1/2% grade after a rain and I'm stuck. Wish I had bought the 4wd but prior to this truck I had always owned Fords and I never needed 4wd so figured I would be fine. Yes I did have a couple of diesel Fords not Powerstroke but the old IDI's.

Rain ha ha ha 91.5 1st gen morning due on grass ,.25% is a get the tow rope . Open diff blows . Had to be pushed off a patch of ice on flat ground at a stop sine. Was so embarrassing with my Mt plates. Was spinning the 1 tire on ice standing on the brake pedal with both feet.

@@daviddroescher I feel your pain. My truck has a LSD although it doesn't seem to do any good. I grew up in Northern Wisconsin so drove in snow and spring thaw muddy mess with 2wd and rarely got stuck and now I live in the south and get stuck anytime I venture into my yard unless it's mid summer.

Try a fluid change with the 2x the called out friction modifier. My 98 12v is a goat. Ran all last winter with a busted vacuum line, so 2bi where 4x4 was posted thought it was working. Till I had to back up an iced hill. Just let him side step till pointed up hill back up a few feet to build momentum and to the top I went. When working right theas lsd are good high bias. to make him go 1 tire needs dry pavement on 1 side and glare ice on the other._. Best of luck. Dammit Dave ( because all the good ideas happened before I was born till they see what I can do)

My 05 does the same thing in 2wd. Even with 35 inch mud tires it gets stuck on wet grass 😂. Lsd ftw! Open differential was a terrible option especially when lsd was a cheap upgrade. I hate driving it because of that. My 04 has a lsd and it makes a huge difference especially with high power.

I would personally opt for a drop in he351 62/64 or 64/67. Don't do a 67/67 they don't make much more power than the 64 and you don't have 2-1 drive pressure. If you aren't adding injectors and cp3 I would stay in he351 or a 62mm s300. S400s are awesome it they need fuel to get going. You need transient response towing and an s400 will cause you to constantly work the overdrive button on every little hill.

Ah shoot pdd was saying compounds, not single s400. Yepper that will work great too, but overkill for 550 imo. But I'm not an expert, just another tool in my garage with cool toys😂.
