Some really great products. I also noticed quite a few that were either not tactile enough or too low contrast for me personally. I think that sometimes when people design products for the B/VI community, they assume black blindness and that's annoying since most of us have some useable vision, so having high contrast & better tactility makes things easier. I think that if you're designing something for someone with black blindness that it's very important to make things as tactile as possible. I'm only recently diagnosed with Mac Degen, but I had the great fortune of attending a school with a large B/VI population in the 90s, and I know some of those things my friends either openly wished existed (that bluetooth base for the braille keyboard in particular), or would have gone absolutely nuts over (the B/VI accessible first person shooter), so I'm really thrilled to see them now. If I liked FPS games, I'd get that one on principle. I hope that other games learn from their example that we are a huge, untapped market.

I have SG. I plan to explore the e-glasses with hopes it might help with grocery shopping and reduce the average amount of time it takes when looking for an unfamiliar item. I am studying to become an OM teacher and think thsi is the best time to be alive as a bVI, what with all the tech we have to adapt to vision loss. I competed in Paralympic Cycling for 15 years and I am really eager to see what new tech may or ay not exist for using on the front of a standard bicycle to help with object identification when riding the bike. Sam, I think you have previewed the Smart Cane and it would be really cool to see how the tech in that cane could possibly be used on a bike, say, designing an easily attachable device for the front fork or handlebar that could help detect oncoming objects. Sam, keep getting after it, with great content! I use Seeing Ai and Be My Eyes when at the grocery store but BMEs just doesn't work well for me. seeing Ai works pretty well but it doesn't really help when moving in from the macro level down to the micro level, when locating specific items. Maybe these E-glasses are a better solution for working from the macro to the micro. I also wonder if the subscription based plan makes glasses like these more affordable. So often as we know, BVI tech or LVAs are prohibitively expensive.

Those glasses at the very beginning, were very interesting. Could almost be a substitute for the be my AI option on the iPhone. Looks like it may work very similar! Thanks for all the info.

Hey Sam, always appreciate your videos. You do such a great job of checking things out for us. I do like the guidance and I heard another comment about from you about it. I would like to know if that’s something that you would do a review on later, I know it’s still a Funding type thing and I’ve signed up for more information about it. I could really see this device going far if they would pair it up with something like the RIGHTHEAR app so that it could do even more, especially on the indoor And outdoor mapping features keep up the good work thanks
