I think you should not stress about not having time to read right now. Probably a good opportunity to branch out to newer content or just vlogs not focused on reading. Also, as a psychology grad I found the topic of your thesis very intriguing.

I'm also working on my thesis (in a Humanities field) which means I'm reading and writing all day, so I also don't want to read for pleasure at the end of the day which sucks. I end up just rewatching eps of sitcoms lol

The mix of study/ reading vlogs is actually super motivating for me because being back in college has put me in a slump because I “don’t have time to read” even tho I really do and seeing you manage it with a thesis is like YES IF YOU CAN DO IT SO CAN I

I've been working on my thesis too these last couple of months and i feel your pain with how dead your brain feels after working on it for hours....XD Your thesis topic sounds really interesting! Would really love to hear more about it as you progress through it a bit more :)

@@dioramomo8904 it depends on the thesis and the topic i feel. for mine i definitely can't do it in two months since there's actual research studies involved where i need to recruit participants and everything, so i need the time to actually get results for that. i'm guessing though yours is just mainly reading up stuff and writing on it. have you considered doing another topic that might make you more motivated to write it?

@@michelleyang4711 yess, you are right, my thesis based on literatures as its main sources so I hope there's still hope. thank you so much for replying, your reply somehow encouraged me to open up my file and I started writing a few pages yesterday 😭🙏. I don't think it is possible to change topic given the deadline is very close, plus I don't really have any back up topic in mind. Thank you again for becoming an encouragement to me. I hope all the best for you in your thesis writing journey! ✨

I went through a thesis so I know how stressful it can be. I think the vlog can help other persons like you, to manage time and have mental health stability. Also you showed wonderful technical resources that they can use too. My best wishes in this step of your life and you are doing it in a very difficult pandemic moment in our history. Good luck with your thesis. Depression is a very important topic. Do share your progress. It keeps you accountable and we can cheer you on. The next book in the Brown sisters series is IMO even better than Chloe Brown. Another really delightful book is The House In the Cerulean Sea. It's about an older male social worker who goes to check an orphanage of potentially dangerous magical children and develops a romance with the headmaster.

I started my thesis yesterday! Research is the worst! 😂 I can definitely relate to not being used to having this much time until a deadline (January 4th) and having a hard time stopping for the evening, feels like I’m rushing when I don’t have to, but I also wanna be closely to done before Christmas 😬

I can relate so much to that "rewarding myself for doing the bare minimum" lol. I wrote like 20 lines of code for my assignment the other day then told myself I'm doing god's work then went and took an hour nap. I also don't know how some people find the energy and courage to make lunch, like being able to eat is cool and all but making food in the middle of the day then cleaning them up so that you could make dinner later is such a hassle, I just end up skipping lunch almost everyday. Lovely video as always though.

I had no idea De Slegte still existed lol! It's been gone from my city (Groningen) for ages. A Deadly Education looks so cool with those pretty illustrations! hey leonie! Ik zit nu in mijn masterjaar en ga echt helemaal door hetzelfde! Naast schoolwerk is er precies geen ruimte meer over in mijn hooft om nog veel intensieve of moeilijke dingen te doen. Ik heb nu ook een enorme rom com/ romantische boeken binge gewoon omdat die gemakkelijk zijn en vlug gaan en ik er vrij 'breindood' naar kan kijken / lezen. Dat kan ook niet anders dan oke zijn. :) We verdienen rust!!! Dus geniet van je Netfix rom coms en geef jezelf tijd! Zet geen druk op jezelf om specifieke dingen te tonen of bespreken op je youtube kanaal. Doe gewoon wat voor jouw nu goed voelt. :)

Ooh I saw the Witcher series next to some books while you were at the shop and I really suggest to read those if you haven't already!! It's my favorite fantasy so far! And crime and punishment is such a good book, such a blueprint for psychological intrigue :) enjoy!

@@xLSofia so far the first season covers the whole first book and part of the second which are both short stories! The "real" story starts in book 3 when Ciri and Geralt meet and s2 will take off from that :) the show is an adaptation of the books so I'm pretty positive they're bringing in a lot from them! I bought the books the second I finished the show and I'm obsessed now!! Like Harry Potter obsessed 😂😂🥰

During my sophomore year I started reading C&P, and I was making excellent progress (bc in a creepy sort of way I had some identification with Rashkolnikov). However, I decided to hitch-hike home for a few days. My second ride was in a van with a stereo and fridge filled with cold drinks. After what must have been a five hour ride, he dropped me about a half-mile from where I lived. Accidentally, I left C&P on his dashboard. Jump forward in time six years and finally I decided to finish it, using a shelf copy in the library during some down time. So what? idk. When I finally got around to re-reading C&P online the e-book mysteriously started repeating pages, so I had to stop. Well ofc eventually I found it somewhere else. Now I wonder what will happen the next time?

The studio where I work made a CG Barbie and the Nutcracker movie back in 2001. I wonder if it’s the same one? While I didn’t work on Nutcracker I did work on a few of the other Barbie movies they made around that time :)
