Honestly little Godzilla would look way different when he grows up. Considering his flat face, giant eyes, and chubby body, i imagine that his adult form would look a little bit in the lines of the 1984 godzilla or 1968-1972 godzilla when he grows up, but a little more thicc. When he became godzilla junior it was an insane change because he literally changed shape and his eyeballs literally became smaller. I dont think that's how growing works lol.

I have some facts on Minya. See his design was ment to emulate how more friendly he was to Humans. Material and construction for monster suits were different so that's probably one of the reasons why the head looks ugly. Go Greenman (surprisingly considering they were still using the same material) and Final Wars as well as Goziban were an improvement.

The cutesy design of Baby Godzilla along with the Sesame Street line kinda make sense once you hear the whole story. A while ago, I heard that Toho’s initial plan was to create a child’s show set in the Heisei series that followed Baby Godzilla getting trapped in some underground society. It would’ve been your standard, run of the mill children’s shows, and Toho used this film to kinda spring board the idea. Unfortunately, Godzilla Vs Spacegodzilla didn’t do as well as Toho had hoped, and after the Americans came in with their pitch of an American made Godzilla film, all ideas and plans for the series were scrapped.

@@shadowbyname2802 As mentioned above, we discovered this was false. And also, "Godzilla vs. Spacegodzilla" was very successful at the box office. It didn't bring in Mothra and Mechagodzilla money, but it was still more successful than "vs. King Ghidorah."

Otherwise, they would not have kept making them. After "Biollante"'s dismal box office performance, everything was riding on GvsKG.

Honestly, It upsets me a little, since Mogera is actually a pretty cool Kaiju, yet they made him unnecessarily weak.

Valid point. I still like the Space Godzilla look, but the costume looks like a struggle to work in.

This is precisely why in retrospect I mostly don't care for the Heisei Era, and SpaceGodzilla is the biggest offender, the costumes look great but the actors inside them can't move, so we get these beam-a-thons. Vs Mechagodzilla 93 is also pretty bad about it, and it's precisely why I rank them very low and I haven't properly watched either of them in probably a decade. I really like the early heisei films ( Biollante, King Ghidorah and Mothra are all more entertaining fights that are more physical and arguably better human plots as well) , I do feel as though Godzilla Vs Destroyer actually brings things back around despite how huge and bulky Destroyers suit also is, they seem to do fancier camera work to make the fights a bit more interesting and the human plot is more engaging as well

@JD Gust of Wind Dance Agree. Though Beast King GoLion was dated even on beginning of the 80's. Similarly like Gundam Wing people like it only because it was one of first mecha in States, even if Voltron was actually way beyond actual stuff from Japan at the time.

I just dislike when people think it was what actually was in Japan at the time, when stuff like Votoms basically destroy States in zones of reality in 85'e (check Kuratas). As side note. Did you see Tekkaman Blade? Even if it technically isn't pure mecha, it hit many similar tones. Sadly moevasion destroy modern anime industry.
