The song's music was composed by bassist Nigel Harrison, who introduced the Ventures-influenced track to keyboardist Jimmy Destri. "One Way or Another" was released as the fourth North American single from Parallel Lines, following the band's chart-topping "Heart of Glass" single.

This video should be just as popular as the "Tainted Love" video. Erica's Facial expressions are just priceless. I have watched the video seven times so far. Just so I can watch each member completely, from the beginning to the end. One of their best in my opinion.

This is a fantastic take on an old hit from my younger days. The instrumentals were fresh and bright, and the ladies killed me with the vocals and dance. I love these Broken Peach Halloween music videos so much I Watch them like 70 times so I can focus on each artist/musician and personality, and how they how they work in combo with each other.
